I don't eat meat which seemed to present a big problem to this indian resaurant (not normally the case). I thought the food spicy hot (which I like and can take) but otherwise bland and utterly tasteless. Wasn't much impressed. If you judge how good an indian resaurant is by how spicy it's food is alone this will get high marks but if you want some flavour as well I recommend you go elswhere.

I dined at this establishment on the 10th with a group of friends. Although I enjoyed what I had personally ordered a few in the group mentioned the luke warm dishes, in paticular the duck & venison curry and the rabbit which was a definate non starter. Pudding of baked custard was a hit. All in all a bit pricy, wouldn't be on my list as a repeat destination but may call in if in the area. Service was unsurpassed, pity the ambience & food wasn't.

We ate here a week ago on Monday evening. The place was quite empty just some business people having adinner and 3 Indian couples. The Room is not very cosy, the lighting is actually very unflattering.
Food is good but not as excellent as one had expected from some of the reviews. My lamb pies, were just that pastry filled with some lamb meat. Nothing special with regards to flavour or texture - almost like buying it at Greggs.
The main course was a bit better but the portion was on the samll side for £13.
My wife had 2 starters which were better.
Best was actually the desert, some delicious caramelised apricot ice-cream.
All in all not too bad but not a destination restaurant.
