Just returned from dinner at Vama - their special Autumn Meal deal was great value and very good. We had one of the meal deals and a few other dishes off of their main menu.

The dishes are innovative and different. The Samosas with chickpeas were outstanding. The crab fritter curry missed the mark.

I would return again with another special meal deal as the food was good, but my guess is that the place is near the end of its life, as it was almost empty on a Thursday night, while the Italian across the road was packed and very buzzy.

Well done to Vama for attempting something different with Indian food.

I visited Vama last night with a group of friends. It was lovely! The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was reasonable and the cocktails were great. It's nicely laid out with enough room between tables and the decor is tasteful and classic. The heating was good where we sat. All in all a great night was had by all.

Tried out Vama last night and was bitterly disappointed. Even though the tempartaures outside were below zero, there’s no excuse for the temperature inside the restaurant to be just as cold…..

We tried a selection of starters, which were all elegantly presented but arrived “luke” warm. The main courses didn’t fair any better – which were also “luke” warm and flavourless
