your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

Fantastic - I took a good friend of mine to E&O for the first time for dinner and cocktails on Friday night, having heard about this place from radio and TV.

The champagne cocktails at the trendy bar before dinner were incredible and very reasonably priced, the decor and atmosphere were great, and the service was fantastic.

As for the food, everything was mouth-wateringly delicious. I can highly recommend the wok-fried tiger prawns in white pepper, chilli siu beef in lettuce wraps and the famous shitake chicken.

The bill came to a shade over £50.00 for two of us including drinks and service - very reasonably indeed, considering that the food was delicious, great portions (perfect to share) and suberb, efficient service considering they were packed!

We will definitely be going back to E&O,as soon as possible if I can arrange it.

Highly recommended.

This restaurant has gone down hill.

Used to be one of my favourites. I went on a Sunday, the service was slow and lazy. I asked for a glass of wine that didn't materialise - I wouldn't mind but they weren't exactly busy. The staff seemed to think it was their day off rather than mine. The food was not as good as it once was - my god daughter's noodles tasted only of lemon and nothing else. When I complained the waiter was very blase. I asked him to call the Manager who was equally as blase. Was very disappointed and will not be returning.

The chilli prawns with curry leaves are delicious and the red curry is great! the service was brilliant. The manager was so kind and accommodating with our food. We will send ALL our friends here!!!!!

Fantastic place. All the dishes were on the mark. Best chilli salt squid I've had since I got back from Oz, and the duck, watermelon and cashew salad was worth going back for on its own. The tempura prawns were enormous and the batter perfect, very good.

Only black spot was that we went for the 7 p.m. sitting on a Friday and the closer it got to 9 p.m. the ruder the waitress was, even at one point interrupting our conversation even though we were done in plenty of time. It looked really buzzy at 9 p.m. so maybe do the later session when you won't have to rush as much.

This is the third time i have been to E&O in as many weeks. The food is top drawer and so moor-ish! I keep waking up in the early hours craving the Chilli Salt Squid......aswell as half the waitresses.

The service is always friendly & efficient without being stuffy and starched - a very well done indeed.

I've recently moved to W11 and had heard a lot from friends about E&O. As im now pretty much a local I thought it would be great to go with my girlfriend.

We were warmly welcomed by a lovely young lady (who's name i cant remember) and the buzzy bar and restaurant put me in good stead for the rest of the evening. Our cocktials and wine were great and the food throughout was fantastic! Such a brilliant selection of dishes and so delightful. The service was attentive, friendly and not pushy by any means.

I am so please that E&O is on my doorstep and i think it's great that they have such a cross section of people coming from all over the City - it's so definately worth it.

I had lunch at E&O recently as I had heard very good things about the restaurant. Whilst it wasn't a terrible experience, it was very average. Started with some very ropey substandard sashimi, followed by a couple of ok main courses. Service was polite but inattentive, almost impossible to get anyone's attention throughout the meal, despite the place being half full.

I imagine this is another restaurant living on past reputation and overall not an experience I would like to repeat.

I don't know what is all the rave about this restaurant. We went there on 8th of June, received a time slot for 7.30 and with the note to have leaft at 9.30 pm. We are from Switzerland, heavy travelling business people and used to good restaurants. First of all we were allocated one of the worst tables, the service was clinical and careless, the wine was lukewarm, the food (satays, chicken curry), nothing to be over the moon about - on the lower scale of average. In fact the satays were on the brink of not cooked through. We will certainly not going back. The only good thing - it wasn't expensive.

I don't know what all the wet knickers are about.

The atmosphere is the nicest thing about this restaurant. It has well designed decor, mellow lighting, buzzy conversation, and you can always find self-made men or minor celebrities among the diners. But some may find it a bit uptight and lacks privacy. It's got a bit of a 'be seen' attitude.

The food is okay, less greasy and more delicately flavoured compared to some other Pan-Asian restaurants. But not mind blowing. I had one dish that was made for superlatives.

And it's defintely slightly pricey. The price is all in the wine. Okay if you're tee-total. But if you like a drink with your food, you'll feel it in your wallet.

It is a competent, classy restaurant. But it doesn't excite me. If this was my local, I'd be a very uptight person.

the shrimp is to die for! It melts in your mouth. And it comes with a lime-and-chilly dip that i could almost drink, it was that good.

The staff have always been friendly.

A bit pricey.
