The food is delicious, the curry!! it was the best, it's probably because I do not eat quite often curry but I like the place.

It's quite noisy.

This place used to be excellent before it changed hands a couple of times, but now they really don't seem to care about service and I think we've been there for the last time now. The staff were mopping up and hoovering round us before we'd finished our food - fine if you're in MacDonalds I guess... It really spoilt what should have been a nice night, and it's a shame because the food is good and the sashimi is fine. I don't like being treated like dirt just because it's Soho.

My wife and I popped in for a late lunch on Boxing Day. There are so many average places that charge too much, and people go because they recognize the name, yo. I've passed Satsuma many times and always wanted to try it.

All of my sushi was good and my wife's bento box was a great deal. The staff were very eager to serve without being intrusive. One of my orders came out as maki instead of the handroll I ordered, but the man who took our order saw from another table and immediately asked someone to take and correct it without me having to ask!

This is the first time in probably a year I've eaten sushi and been completely happy. The service, the food,, and the bill were all fine. Usually one of these is off. We'll be coming back.

We went there as a group of 8 and despite having to wait almost half an hour for a table, we had an enjoyable time. The food was served quickly and was good quality. Although it was quite noisy, it still had a good atmosphere. Overall good value.

I've been to Satsuma many times and have taken friends and family there, all of whom have enjoyed it, even those who were distinctly wary at the prospect of sushi! Unlike a lot of sushi restaurants this is not intimidating, it is friendly, clean & reasonably priced. The service is always quick, efficient and friendly and the atmosphere lively! The tempura prawn roll is just amazing and a must have for me every time I go! This is a real find amid many average and overpriced restaurants.

Excellent!!! food, service is OK, but service is not that important at all. Consistently very nice and delicious dishes over the 6-7 nights I spend there in August 06.

I went to Satsuma for the third time last night and I have to say that I found the service quite disappointing. I thought they would have brought the starters out first, but they brought out my main about 5 minutes before my friends. Then they brought out my friends main, while my other firend had to wait about 10 minutes for hers to arrive. So by the time I finished my noodles they were stone cold! Not impressed! The food was very good though, but I was not tipping them for their bad sevice!
