I was really worried when I heard that The Bush Bar had changed hands as it was always the best restaurant in Shepherd's Bsh, if not West London. But I am pleased to report that the food is much improved (it was never their strongest suit) and is now really excellent. The cote de boeuf with escargots is sensational as was the salade nicoise. Pricing seems a tad more moderate as well which is of course welcome. The main change is the restaurant has been reduced in size to accomodate a bigger bar - smart move given how crowded it can get in the evenings. The cocktail list has been reduced somewhat but those that remain are superb. All in all, highly recommended and a great place for a big party and celeb spotting.

Love the Bush Bar and Grill now it has changed hands and been somewhat redesigned. They decided to improve the quality of menu and food enormously and reduced the prices. Bar is bigger. Staff who are helpful and efficient. After years of only drinking there due to overpriced mediocre food this is a great April 2006 improvement.

Very pleasant restaurant with good service and the menu contains a good variety of dishes to choose from. The blood orange dessert is excellent , as is the South African desert wine prepared by Fairview.

Bush Bar is local to me, and I have never had a problem with it (although I haven't eaten there). I have always found the service to be friendly and efficient, with none of the unnecessary attitude that blights places such as The Westbourne.

Drinks are excellent (things like the Rose Petal Martini are done very well), the atmosphere is convivial and it's such a nice change from the rest of Goldhawk Road. It's places like this, tucked away down a small alley, that make Shepherds Bush an interesting place to live.

very modern look and feel but sort the bar our for heavens sake. Nice long bar, but at 9pm only 2 people serving it. That might not have been so bad had the 2 barmen been serving those waiting for drinks instead of chatting up and giving free drinks to the 2 women sat directly in from of them. Then, when I was served, I was dismayed to see them carefully measuring out the alcohol. Anyone knows that a professional barman does not need to measure out the ingredients, a big red mark on them I'm afraid. Go to the Rockwell or LAB to see how real cocktail mixers operate!
