Rocket

Overall good. I've been to rocket before, and it's always a pleasure to dine there. I was a little disappointed at the location of our table though. I had a rubbish bin and an open supplies cupboard to look at! Our table was also dirty, but it was cleaned as soon as we asked, and the cupboard door was closed. There was nothing that could be done about the bin. I had a delicious vegetarian salad, and my fellow diners were equally as pleased. The staff were friendly and efficient. All in all, a good experience.

I have eaton at this place many times and even though I agree that it does need a lick of paint, the food and service have always been top notch. It is twice as good as many places twice the price.

I recently had a very disappointing lunch at Rocket. The food was disgusting, the service was slow, the toilets were filthy. All in all a waste of what should have been an ejoyable lunch. I would actively recommend not going.

Rocket is an excellent place and my colleagues and I love going there for a friendly catch-up or a business lunch. However, I came last week and was throughly disappointed by the service I received. Our waitress was miserable and her attitude unpleasant. She made it unbearable for me and my business partners to relax. She was aggressive when delivering food, wine or the bill. This french girl has never served me before, and I sure do hope she will not serve me again.

Our visit to Rocket was extremely enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was fab and the portions generous. All at a reasonable price. We had a problem with one of the meals and the staff were very apologetic. Even though we didn't complain, they didn't charge for that main course, which we thought was a very nice gesture. Top tip - the Strawberry Cheesecake was delicious!!

Everytime I eat in Rocket it is great, yeserday was no exception.

The food was excellent. Rocket is, as i have said before, twice the quality at half the price of so many restuarants in London.

Rocket is terrible. I used to think this place really had something, now it just has a damp problem and slow and inexperienced staff. Half an hour after sitting down about 6 of us realised the seats were wet and stood up horrified! The waitress ran over and said "ooh sorry I came over as soon as I could to tell you we've just had the seats cleaned and they're still wet" Brilliant. Thanks sweetheart. Rocket is scribbled out of my lunch appointments now!

I took a client there on a business lunch, and I have to say the place is pretty good, and very reasonable given the generous portion sizes. (the renovated bar looks much better too). Just one complaint however and that is the German waitress was so rude and abrupt serving us. Although it didn't ruin our lunch experience I would prefer not to be served by her again.

This place is a hidden gem, The bar has just had a bit a needed change and looks very cool, the retsurant is great and the food is very resonably priced.. A great place in the middle of W1. Most other places in the west end charge high prices and are not that good. Rocket is a fun place with a great atmosphere!

Four of us visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening, couple of drinks downstairs first then we headed up stairs for some food. The place looks OK and was reasonably busy. We were shown our table and we proceeded to order some drinks, these took about 10-15 minutes. We all had bread and such for starters and pizza for main. These arrived quite quickly and apart from the drinks the service in terms of time was good, although some of the staff looked so unhappy puffing and tutting when we asked for more water, cutlery and coats.

For the price we paid we felt that the food represented good value and in the main the Rocket is just that, a reasonably priced establishment with reasonable food and service

This rocket is not the type you see at big outdoor venues more like the one your Dad bought from Standard, did the job, but don’t expect a big bang.
