My family and I love this restaurant: the waitstaff makes you feel they are happy to see you (and remember us when we come back), the food is tasty and different from the standard fare of Indian restaurants, and the decor is simple but interesting.
One of the treats of London! (and it doesn't hurt that a Doctor Who spaceship is named for it). Definitely a place for a quiet, delicious meal, and open until 11:30 (we've been let in at 11:28, which many places wouldn't).

I haven't ever had such a bad Indian takeaway, really unbelievable they were serving it - half-watery, half-gloopy korma barely warmed up in microwave, runny bhuna, almost stale, completely tasteless naan bread covered in something orange; popadoms were fine, but that didn't help! Would have sent it straight back if it was in the restaurant.

I think this place is taking the monkeys.
Firstly, there is a large photo of God Ganesh on display. However, after opening the menu we were shocked to see beef being served. That should be illegal. We told them that we were going to pay for the drinks and leave as a result of beef being served. One of the waiters were quick to reply by saying all our food is halal. Why would we care if we are Hindu.
Secondly, the menu seemed to be as if from Bengal. The food is very different from main land India.
Thirdly and most importantly the coke was imported and taste like cola.. Why? To save a few pennies yet still charge £1.50.
Fourthly we were the only ppl apart from the staff and it was 7pm on Sunday.
The place should be shut down.
