Jason's is our favourite restaurant - how fortuante we are to have such an excellent place local to us. We often walk out the door with the intention of going for a nice long stroll through little Venice, but we get no further than the canal, spot the sweet little outdoor tables at Jason's, and are lured in for a glass of Pecorino and one of their fabulous fish or pasta dishes. We have never been let down by the food, atmosphere, or service, and this after many, many visits. The menu changes daily so there is no fear of boredom, and the ingredients are always fresh and often slightly pleasingly unusual. I brought my office here for our Christmas dinner, and they raved. Point made. Now I can only wait for it to re-open after its current refurbishment. (Please hurry! We miss our favourite summertime spot.)

I've been to Jason's a couple of times, and I don't know whether it's better by day or night! Either way, the food is great, the seafood is super-fresh every time, the wine list is small but good, and the service is very good. Last night, I had the tuna carpaccio, which was divine. The tuna was so fresh that it was actually a bit sweet, which perfectly balanced out the lemon juice and capers. My husband had the grilled squid with hummous and yoghurt, which was also really yummy - perfectly grilled and very fresh. For mains, my husband had the steak, which had a nice charred taste though it was nice and pink on the inside. I had the skate wing with cherry tomatoes and capers, which was really delicious. We both had wines by the glass, which were very nice. Service was attentive though not in-your-face. The ambience was quite romantic but relaxed - just perfect! We'll be going back soon!

i've been going to Jason's for ages now, and have yet to be let down. Sadly, it's not that easy to notice if you are new to the area, it doesn't much look like a restaurant from the outside. However- for those who venture in- it's a real jem.
The waiters/waitresses are very attentive without being overly so- the food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) is well presented and perfectly balanced with a good wine list- the ambience is chic/cosy (formal enough to warrant making the effort to dress up slightly, but informal enough just to have a very chilled evening out). They also do the best eggs Benedict in west london! And it's by the river, which only adds to its charm.
it's a well kept secret- but sadly one that i think deserves sharing with others.

We had a fabulous evening last night at Jason's. The weather was nice enough to allow us to sit outside by the canal, and all of our menu choices were wonderful. The tuna carpaccio starter was generous and very tasty, and the steak was the best I have had in London. The service was also stellar, even the chef thanked us for coming in. Would definitely visit again.

Jason's has taken on a new lease of life since the recent refurbishment.
Sitting outside, by the canal was a pleasant way to spend an evening. However this experience pailed against my delicious meal. The seared tuna carpaccio and pan fried sea bass were wonderful. The relaxed but attentive service made for a most enjoyable experience.
