Just celebrated my husbands birthday in Rhodes 24. We had an amazing time. The restaurant itself was buzzing and the veiws across London were beautiful. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was delicious and the wine was gorgeous. We will defininitely be returning when we are next in London.

For the price, this was the worst restaurant I have ever been. The quality of the food did not match the great view. The starter was average (Crab Raviolo & Guinea Fowl) , the main meal horrible (Rabbit & Sea Bream) and the dessert very disappointing (Apple & Creme Brulee). I used to respect Mr Rhodes but not any more. I will never return to this restaurant and will advise friends and family to avoid this restaurant. The service was slow and the waitress very rude. I have had a truely miserable bithhday.

I took my son and his girlfriend to Rhodes 24 for dinner last Thursday 10th April.
We had lovely cocktails prior to the meal, but I was disappointd that the meal let us down. Service was extremely slow, with long gaps before each course.
We had two bottles of wine, a red and a white, costing seventy pound in total, but we found it very odd indeed (and inconvenient) that the waiter stored our bottles well away from our table, so that our glasses remained unfilled for much of the time.
The portions were far too small - I had sea bass at thirty pounds, and the serving was tiny.
The accompanying mashed potato was cold.
We all enjoyed the three courses, but there was insufficient for the cost.
I would never go there again, I feel that the service was far below the standard to be expected from a top rated place like this.

I recently had the pleasure of having a meal in Rhodes 24 with my partner and son. Everything was fantastic! the ambience, surroundings, attentivness of the staff and of course the food and wine. Everything was delicious and I was especially happy as i'm vegeterian. We felt so relaxed and unhurried and hopefully we'll have the opportunity to eat there again - soon! THANK YOU to all the staff in Rhodes 24 for making it such an unforgetable experience.

I recently went to the Rhodes W1 restuarant which I was unimpressed with as I found it completely over priced and far too stuffy. Given that experience, I went to Rhodes24 with low expectations and had them hugely exceeded.
The service was attentive without being over baring, the starter of Peas Soup with a poached egg was trully amazing and the view breathtaking.
When I go to client lunches I allways guage a restaurant on wether I would spend my own hard earned cash there, and Rhodes 24 is worth every penny!

Went to Twenty Four on Monday for a friends birthday and have to say what a fantastic place! The food, although pricy was incredibly good quality and perfectly cooked. The menu was superb with good choice and variety. The Sommelier was well informed and recommended some great wines to go with our food. The view was amazing and the decor of the restaurant was very pleasing. The staff were attentive from a distance and this combined with the food made for a great meal out. This is definitely an exspensive place to eat but worth it for an occasion. I have eaten at Fifteen and other "celebrity" chef restaurants and never been that impressed but Twenty Four has changed that for me. I will be definitely be going back.

went to rhodes 24 last thursday. the food was very nice plus i left feeling pleasantly full. i had foie gras for starter which was okay plus a delicious sea bass for main, however, you must try gary rhodes signature pudding, for those who love traditional british puddings it is exceptional.
one waiter seemed a little stuffy but other than that the service was good and sommelier was very helpful and friendly.
the restaranrt itself is a little formal and it lacked a little atmosphere but apparantly it is best a night time, especially with the wonderful view.
i wasn't paying so i didn't pay much attention to the cost but from what i can remember the cost was in corrolation to other michelin starred/fine dining restarants in london

My wife had booked a table at 24 for my birthday as a suprise.
We went in (Jan 2008) and were pleasently suprised by the politeness of the staff-no snooty attitudes here.
We waited in the bar for five minutes before being seated which was fine.
As it was early evening the views of London 'lt up' were amazing.
We ordered a house red-Merlot at £20 per bottle which was a really nice wine.
We where then presented with an expresso cup of butternut squash soup as an appertizer which was simply wonderfull.
I had the guinea fowl sausage to start which was wonderfully rich but also managed to be a delicate delight to eat.
My wife being a vegitarian was also pleased with the vegitarian dishes on offer
so she ordered three courses that she thourghley enjoyed. My Partridge for mains was fantastic in both presentation and taste.
The sweets (both ordered the creme brulee) were lovely-It came with three different interpretations of the french classic. Each as delicious as the next and we then recieved complimentry pettit fours again superb.
We both had an unhurried meal of outstanding quality and considering the venue superb value.
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want to eat well in a lovely venue you cannot go wrong here.We will certainly be returning.Well done Gary Rhodes.

A very nice, relaxing evening was had. Courteous and attentive service, with excellent food, albeit quite a long wait for the mains. The mains been unable to justify the wait, however great presentation.
The main redeeming feature of the evening: the puddings. A big, serious thumbs up from both of us.
Interesting wine menu too (kept to a few pages, not a hundred, like some establishments!).
As for views, well very good. The North-East side of the building perhaps not the best for learing over London, however for real views have an expensive cocktail or two prior on the 42nd floor at Vertigo Bar.

I too was taken to Rhodes 24 as a surprise 40th birthday present. I cannot disagree strongly about the comments made. I too found the view to be amazing but I also found the whole experience wonderful. The waiting staff were extremely professional and courteous. I am slightly disabled and they were very attentive to all my needs. I opted for a 'berry cocktail' to start me off and wasn't disappointed. It tasted gorgeous and I am unable to drink alcohol made a perfect drink for me. The starter of 'guineafowl sausage' was not something I would normally go for but it was beautiful. My husband had the 'crab ravioli' and thought it was lovely. . We were given a complimentary taster of 'butternut squash' soup and having never tried butternut squash before we were bowled over by the taste. We both opted for 'Sea Bass' which was absolutely gorgeous, the fish was moist and the mash potato amazing ( I thought our 'mash' at home was creamy but that was nothing compared to Rhodes. As a pudding I went for the 'Apple' with blackberry ice cream and custard, again amazing, with crisp pastry and devine tasting apple and ice cream. My other half chose the 'signature dish' with the three sweets and again it didn't disappoint. I found the whole evening wonderfully romantic, peaceful and it gave me a 40th birthday I will never forget. I cannot praise the restaurant highly enough. Finally I was also impressed that they didn't 'turn tables' so you didn't have people bustiling in and out all the time during your meal. There was no feeling of being rushed to finish the meal, we were able to take our time between courses. It was probably one of the best evenings I have ever experienced. I've always wanted to eat in 'Michein Star' restaurant and taste high quality food to experience the difference in 'fresh produce' and highly talented chefs skills and they are a world apart from a normal 'run of the mill' restuarant.
