I disagree with the comments made by other people about the food in this place! i went there with a friend becoz of the reviews on this site and found out it was really quiet for a friday evening, it didnt get any busier through out the night. The reason being was the food, it was just not up to scratch for the price they where charging! i came out still feeling hungry cos the postions were small, service wasn't great neither.

Went there today with my daughter who is HR manager for a company very close to Gattis. She had the swordfish and I had the Venison, both the food and the service was excellent. The clientele were almost exclusively city business types wearing suits. I now work in Canary Wharf and you don’t see so many suites there. The girl that came with the PIN machine for the bill kept giving me weird smiles I guess she though this old guy must be a billionaire with a girlfriend this young and this pretty.
Great place to go if you want really good service and good food near to Liverpool Street.

Just perfect. Gatti's is very reliable for me. Never had anything to complain about. Food, really good. Always good portions and the wine list never needed because Max has always the right wine for right meal and not to forget the sweet trolley (lemon cheese cake or choccolate mousse )DELICIUS.I usually drink 4 or 5 coffees and they charge me one.Very good and thank you.

Great food, great service. Yes a little expensive but what do you expect for a restaurant in the centre of the city. Well worth the money in my opinion. I regularly use Gatti's for business and pleasure and will continue to do so.
