The week before last was the third occasion I have eaten at Tentazioni, and each time has been a truly excellent experience.
There is a relaxed ambience, the staff are friendly and attentive, and there is a very imaginative and mouth watering menu.
This is one of the few restaurants I have been to recently where each course delivers a real 'wow' factor. The chef, Riccardo, certainly knows how to hit the taste bud sweet spot!
I highly recommend that you check this restaurant out if you have not already been.

We've been to Tentazioni last week and I have to say thet we were really impressed. The food was amazing, unusual combination of taste and presentation of all dishes were incredible, outstanding. One of the best meal we had in a really long time.
That, and the friendly staff that followed us all the way through our meal in a impeccable way, made that night, a night to remember. Thanks guys!
Only one cloud, the owner that we think she call Anna, never gave us a smile or any attention, given us the feeling that if you are not "someone" you're not welcome. What a shame!
We are in the same business, so let us give you a piece of advice. If you have to be like that...stay at home.

Dear Londoners, not many know that in Bermondsey is situated such gem:Tentazioni.
I just want to say thank you for such a magnific experience, glorious! This place has it all -
great food, good wine, attentive friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere.
We hadn't made a reservation but the staff were very happy to accomodate us on a busy evening. I would definitely go back. Tell friends and book a table.

Ate here last Thursday and to our surprise the restaurant was almost full. As I live nearby I had the impression it wasn't that popular.
As it was full the service was stretched from the beginning. The friendly owner kept on dropping things and crashing against tables as she was in such a hurry.
The menu was short but what really catches the eye are the high prices, starters around £9.50, mains £18-21.
We had one starter and this was open raviolo with truffles and figs. This was a very tasty dish, full of great flavours. Unfortunately the mains were a severe let-down. My fish was battered (not mentioned on the menu) and the peanut sauce just didn't deliver. My wife's kebab was at £20 a joke nothing better than you get at £8 at your local Chinese restaurant.
Dessert was ok although again too expensive for the quality.
All in all a big disappointment especially as the bill (with wine) came to almost £90.

We had dinner at Tentazioni last Friday and the whole meal was excellent. I had the 5 course tasting menu and every course was delicious. The menu changes every month so you can be a regular and not get bored. It is not surprising that it has been voted 3rd best Italian restaurant in London. It was surprising that we could get a table. Book now!

We have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years now, and it continues to deliver on the promise of its name.
The service is excellent, and the food varies between very good and absolutely sublime.
The fact that Tentazioni is a few hundred metres back from the river front makes it somewhat of a "hidden treat".
Totally recommended.
