One of my most favorite places in London; that and Quaglino's. Great atmosphere, great place on a great street. A tad pricey, but well worth it!

They should add a nice steak or chops and one or two more pasta and shrimp dishes.

Otherwise, the place is just perfect for me. Bringing back the piano in the bar would be a treat.

Well worth the 9s and 10s

Nice location and venue, ok to have a few cocktails but food was beyond any acceptable standard, especially for a mayfair restaurant. Poorly presented and absolutely tasteless to say the least. Very disappointing...

My friend and I went for a set menu for lunch. Food and a Bellini for £21-a-head. The quality of the food was not bad, but the portions were tiny. We ordered additional veg, and this was served but what remained was whisked away so that we had no chance of eating it. I ordered a pudding - sheeps cheese and peach, The cheese amounted to, literally, a handful of tiny morsels, and the peach constituted two slivers. Cost? Another £5.

Went to this elegant restaurant last week with my parents for a post theatre dinner. I must say from the moment we walked in the service was slick and proffessional whilst also managing to be friendly and well....Italian! It is so rare these days to go to sucha nice restaurant and be welcomed like guests and not customers. The food is authentic and of a very high standard, and the wine list (according to my father) one of the best italian wine lists he has seen in London. I loved this restaurant and would definitely reccomend.

First time at Sartoria on Saturday evening, to celebrate my daughters birthday.

Excellent location, stylish decor, excellent menu.

The food was very good, the ambiance in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night was pleasant.

However, what were all those waiters doing? The service was appalling, our welcome bellinis took about 20 mins to arrive, and our wine order was finally taken after about 30 minutes.

Overall, I was somewhat disappointed, service is everything to me, and with the amount of staff on duty, quite frankly, they should be doing better.

I went to Sartoria under the Standard evening offer with 5 other friends., and frankly was extremely dissappointed.

We really felt treated like second or even third class customers, with waiters taking a very long time to take our orders.

Most of the dishes in the menu were replaced by other poorly prepared and very small dishes.

I think the worse came when the sommelier after ordering the wine, just left it on a desk behind our table and never came back to fill at least once our glasses.

I'm normally doing lots of business dinners, and I will make sure to stay clear of that restaurant

I ate dinner here with my partner last night and everything was great from the greeting when we arrived to the service during the meal. The service time was just right- we weren't looking around to see when the meals were coming and didn't feel rushed. Professional staff were happy to help. The food was great Italian with delicious flavours and real Italian coffee. I would be happy to eat here again or to bring friends here.

I read the reviews before I went to Sartoria and I was a bit worried. Me and my husband went for a birthday treat as he bought me the last minute.com voucher.

We were walmly welcomed and our coats were taken.I think the decor was very nice, classy and not too dark as prev mentioned.

We were asked if we would want our glass of bellini at the bar or at the table, we opted for at our table where we were promptly seated.

Our waiter came over and showed us the courses that we could choose from , I admit there could have been more choice but I was happy with the salmon and my husband choose the veal. We were given bread and asked if we wanted water which we did. We also ordered a bottle of white wine which was the cheapest at £18 but it was Mayfair so wasn't suprised.

The waiter was very nice and would make sure that our wine and water was topped up. The food arrived in good time( not quickly but not too long). It was very nice and you can tell effort had been made. We both had the tiramisu which was lovely. All in all in was a lovely evening . It is not too protentious but like I said is classy the staff are very nice and look after you. The food isn't massive portions but is enough. I would recommend this for a special occasion of for a treat would go again if in London.
