Maxwell's situated nicely inbetween the market and the tube station offers a groovy, buzzing atmosphere with the american touch. Classic decor, ambient lighting and above average volume AOR music gives this venue a vibrant feel upon entering.
The menu offers much from the grill with the typical choices including sharing platters, salads and burgers. Few Vegetrian options available and a childrens menu that seems to cover every parent's need, including a doodle page.
The service is fast and efficient, staff being friendly and helpful but nothing that stands out as exceptional that a restaurant like this might display, still there is nothing bad to say about that.
Food was good, well presented and generous portions, however even with the good portion still might be a little over priced for what you get starters being £5-£6 and main courses all about £10+ on average.
The place has a great atomsphere and would be a good place pre-show dinner or shopping trip lunch but would visit during the evening more so because of the nice nightlife aura it has. Maybe best for an easy going foursome or small group.

Came here for a bite to eat late Sunday aftrernoon.
Crab cakes and calamari to start were much better than expected and good value at around £6. Mains however were not great with the chicken & bacon club costing £11 and a mixed salad with a few strips of steak near £14. Both were okay but not worth the money.
Cocktails were on a happy hour and the Mai Tai's we drank were not bad. Service was friendly and quick and although the music was a bit loud for me the place a a real buzz.
Might not be back to eat but will for a drink.
