Tootsies (South Kensington)

I had to call the manager over after my first and last visit to Tootsies. She was charming; the wait staff, while slow, were very pleasant. But the food: bad. My partner did like her aubergine & sweet pepper sandwich. But my ribs were cold and tough and my tart was...indescribably bad. Soggy pastry, saccharine filling. Awful. I would say: don't take the chance.

I don't want to go into detail but please don't go into Tootsies. The burgers are full of gristtle- the milk shakes dissapointing and one particular waitess would 'run away' from us after serving us found so we could't ask for mayonaise or drinks- she reminded me of manuel from Faulty Towers. Cheescake was served with a raspberry coulee that was surrounded by fruit flies and the restaurant itself was dirty. Please don't go and waste your money like we did.
