Following a complaint I was invited back by the manager and had what can only be described as an excellent meal. Many thanks for a wonderful evening, we can't wait to return.

Good Earth is the best Chineses restaurant in North London and may well be the best Chinese reatuarant in the wholke of London. The welcome and the service are as good as any restaurant I've been to (the staff are friendly, informative and funny) and the food is sublime. Try an old favourite and it will taste like something new or be adventurous and have an exciting original experience. The wine list is just right (White from the Alsace works very well) and the whole experience is one of delicious pleasure

Went here for Valentine' Day and were not disappointed. Every dish on the set menu was fantastic, with the highlight being the Szechuan prawns - really tasty with a complex flavour.
Despite it being Valentine' Day service was good humoured and we weren't rushed at all. The wine list was also good. I really enjoyed it and would definitely return - it may be expensive but it is also delicious.

A great Chinese restaurant serving consistently high-quality food. The prices are on the high side (not your average £6-a-meal takeaway) but you most definitely get what you pay for.
The staff are always very welcoming although can be quite abrupt with their table service. It gets extremely busy at weekends so I would advise you to book in advance!

Great for single travelers who want fine food and not to be stuck in a corner. At the window bar, you can order a fine meal and usually enjoy the quiet company of others, business travelers and neighbors. After three visits over my last three trips to London, it is my first choice when I am near Harrods.

The quality of food, while not inexpensive, remains good. It bothered my wife and I that they had no no-smoking area. Yesterday evening, 23 Jan 2006, our meal was effectively ruined by a chain smoking diner next to our table and management couldn't be bothered with our inconvenience. We'll be giving the Good Earth a pause for the next year or so, or at least until laws go into effect to protect non-smokers.

A little bit pricy for what you get but the food here is of such a good quality that you may not mind so much. The service is excellent and all the waiting staff are very attentive and friendly.
My only slight criticism would be that there is not as much atmosphere as there could be and that some of the tables are a little bit closer together than they should be. But these are minor concerns as this restaurant offers a consistent range of excellent chinese cuisine in a friendly environment.
