We dined here last Friday night with some friends on the £25 special offer. This is the second time we've done this and both times it was a delightful experience. Great food, service and location. The food was beautifully presented and had the flavor to match. I particularly recommend the duck, but you have your choice of the al la carte menu. so it is a good selection. Definitely one to put on your list!

I went to Incognico for my 30th Birthday celebrations and would recommend it. The restaurant itself is elegant and understated unlike a lot of west end restaurants which rely heavily on the wow factor of their interiors to do the work that the food can't do. It was very lively, which was expected for a saturday night, but not so noisy that we couldn't hear one another speak. The tables were roomy and the chairs comfy. The staff are charming, polite and extremely attentive. The food was tasty, but not exquisite, with some dishes packing a better punch than others. The special carpaccio of beef starter was a winner, as was the tian of crab. The steak 'rossini' was apparently to die for, whilst the duck was a bit of a let down with a decidedly hard fondant potato. Overall it was a lovely evening. Incognico provides a classy atmosphere without the pomposity and stuffiness of so many of its competitors, as well as lip smacking food.

I have been to Incognico twice using the £25 for 3 courses offer it's well worth it - the food is is good without being execptional the mackeral starter and rump of lamb stood out. Yes the tables are close together and the service can be a little rushed, but the staff are good and will slow things down if asked.

When you book a table via a special offer, there's always a lingering fear you'll be treated as a second class diner. The fact Incognico's very good deal allowed us to choose from the normal a la carte menu led me to believe that would not be the case here, but alas that's exactly how it turned out when we went last Thurs eve. We were hurried throughout, as if we were somehow lowering the tone. Starters arrived quickly, thought not alarmingly so. The main course then arrived literally a minute after the starters were cleared. To slow things down we told the two waiters who quickly came up to ask us about desserts that we felt hurried and to hold fire. Only for coffee to be served at the same time as our desserts. It wasn't as if the restaurant was full with diners waiting (though this would have been no excuse). The food was decent without being startling. I had slightly bland but beautifully cooked Salt Cod with Aioli to start, followed by tasty honey roasted duck with (undercooked) pomme fondant and a sloppy but delicious warm chocolate mousse. My wife's tagliolini with crab & chilli looked average but tasted good. Her sticky toffee pudding, however, was more of a cake and not unctious enough. We mentioned the problem with the service to the front of house manager and he was apologetic, so one would hope things will improve.

In the heart of shaftesbury avenue, one might expect a restaurant to be touristy and a little tacky. Incognico was neither, in fact it was classy, elegant, and delight to dine in. The special offer is not limited to a set menu, giving diners a free range of the fantastic a'la carte menu. All three courses were excellently presented, with a mixture of tastes and flavours to keep the palette interested throughout. The service was exemplary, and restaurants throughout London could learn a thing or two! Overall a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back, offer or not.

We were there as a party of 5 on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy. Took advantage of the 25 pound dinner deal with a glass champagne. The champagne was lovely.

In terms of ambience, it was very noisy in the restaurant due to all the echoing hard surfaces around the room. We practically had to shout just to talk to each other around the table.

In terms of service, our waiter was a little snobbish-looking and not particularly friendly. We did however take his advice on the wine and weren't disappointed.

Food was delivered to the table by 2 - 3 waitresses, not the same staff as those working on the restaurant floor. They delivered the wrong order to our table not once, but twice, plonking starters on the table to some rather confused expressions on our faces, which then transferred to confused looks on their faces before they apologised and took the dishes away again. This happened a second time a few minutes later with yet a different set of starters we didn't recognise. But they finally got us right the third time.

Whilst I would say the food was generally good, not everything was fantastic. Had the tagliolini pasta with crab and chilli for starter, which was OK, not brilliant. Couldn't help having a small taste of my brother's chicken pate - now that was divine... So smooth it melted in your mouth - delicious.

I chose the honey-roasted duck for my main and found it tough. But then finished with the sticky toffee pudding which went down a treat.

So overall, some good and some bad. However, for such a good price on the dinner deal, which ended up at 37 pounds a head including a bottle of wine, some water and the 12.5% service charge, I can't complain too much. But would I rush back? Probably not.

Visited Incognico on a Monday night, having booked the Champagne deal for £25 each. We were very impressed, the menu options were from the 'real' a la carte menu (not a seperate inferior menu, you usually get with these deals!), and the food was delicious and refreshing. The duck was the best I have had in a long time. The service was also very good. Every table was full, and the atmoshere was relaxed. Would highly recommend.

It was really quite on the Monday night we went. The food and the service was really quite good the resaturant was quite but it was the pre theather crowd ( we were off to spamalot!). We booked online and although we wandered off the deal a bit it was really good.

We ate last wekend and at first we suprised to be the only diners at 8pm on a Saturday night. However as the evening progressed the restaurant started to get quite busy. We were both impressed with the decor of the restaurant and the initial greeting from thr staff. The food was fautless and wine was excellent, although qiute expensive. To be fair we would not normally spend this mucn on two courses, wine and coffee. (£120) However we did not begrudge the amount as the food and service were both first class.

booked through london eating, i great inexpensive way to visit some of the best restaurants in london, despite usually a special menu for the 'cheapees', this was great, any three courses off their extensive menu and the food was fantastic, the wine a little over priced but a good bottle of chablis at £30 not too bad.

a fantastic experience, cheers.
