We ate last wekend and at first we suprised to be the only diners at 8pm on a Saturday night. However as the evening progressed the restaurant started to get quite busy. We were both impressed with the decor of the restaurant and the initial greeting from thr staff. The food was fautless and wine was excellent, although qiute expensive. To be fair we would not normally spend this mucn on two courses, wine and coffee. (£120) However we did not begrudge the amount as the food and service were both first class.

booked through london eating, i great inexpensive way to visit some of the best restaurants in london, despite usually a special menu for the 'cheapees', this was great, any three courses off their extensive menu and the food was fantastic, the wine a little over priced but a good bottle of chablis at £30 not too bad.
a fantastic experience, cheers.

Took my staff out to Icognico after seing 3 course meal offer on-line. Although we arrived late the staff were very accomodating and caring. We were shown to some very comfortable chairs and the ambience in the place was of just the right pitch. The round tables gave the place a unregimental feel and the tasteful decor really add to the character of the place. On to the food and starting with the minestrone soup, it was first class, as was the buffalo mozzarella salad. Time between courses being served was just the right length with waiters there to help but not being intrusive. The main courses was simply exquisite, I had the honey roast duck which was succulent and tender, others had the organic salmon and the flavour was sublime with clear indication of its non farmed life. Puddings came and the warm chocolate mousse was heaven personified with melt in the mouth texture and strong chocolate taste. I would definately recommend Incognico to people and intend a visit with others in the not to distant future

I took a large group of friends to this restaurant for my 30 birthday on a cold Monday night. The night was fantastic! To be honest, I had only booked it due to the special offer they had, so my expectations weren't very high. However, upon arrival we were treated grandly, the menu was not a specially selected inferior menu for those paying through the special deal - it was their normal menu, which was just delightful to select from. I am so glad I went there and will hopefully re-visit them soon!

I recently booked a table for 8 people before going to see Spamalot, and we took advantage of the £25 3 course meal offer.
I have to say everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the food and the service were excellent. The only criticism may be that the service was a little over-attentive with some unnecessary re-filling of water glasses - but a minor quibble.
I love the classic look of the dining room, and was really pleased that the 8 of us were seated at a round table, which makes dining much more sociable.
Highly recommended.

We took advantage of the £25 offer this week, for a pre-theatre dinner. On the whole, excellent, though the starter of pasta with crab and chillies was disappointingly bland. The roast rump of lamb for the main course more than made up for this - it was just perfect, cooked medium rare as requested, and I could cut it with a fork. Service was superlative - always a waiter there if you wanted one, but not otherwise. We will definitely go again.

Went for dinner tonight with the special offer. The pasta starter was like a hospital dish. The main of duck and lamb were also hugely disappointing and tough. The dessert was ok. All portions were for people on diets and I strongly advocate that people stay away from this restaurant. The staff were warm and caretaking but I guess they dont cook

I decided to take my guests to Incognico based on the reviews on this page. I was slightly dissapointed with the decision. First they couldnt find our reservation although I had spelled my name many times on the phone; well no problem; there was free tables. Then we ordered bottle of wine (Malpec, really excellent), waited a long time before waiter came with the bottle and then couple of minutes later when the first waiter went to pick up a bottle opener second waiter came with different bottle offering to open it..a bit confusing and at least really unprofessional. For the starter I took tomato, mozzarella basil salad; quite poor and apparently they had run out of basil as that was missing from the salad! Mains were good though and dessert; cheese cake was best for a long, long time. Should have taken advantage of this great offer, now when I didnt the experience was rather bad and expensive. Will not be returning.

Also ate here on London Eating deal (50% off food). Lovely interior, great location, attentive staff+manager, all very friendly. Food was very nice indeed, but I would have had serious reservations if I had been paying full price for it. It was good, but portions were a bit small (maybe because of 50% off?), and there is a lot of competition in their price range, so I can't say that it stands out. On balance-worth it for the money off deal, but for full price I would not be so sure.
