Also ate here on London Eating deal (50% off food). Lovely interior, great location, attentive staff+manager, all very friendly. Food was very nice indeed, but I would have had serious reservations if I had been paying full price for it. It was good, but portions were a bit small (maybe because of 50% off?), and there is a lot of competition in their price range, so I can't say that it stands out. On balance-worth it for the money off deal, but for full price I would not be so sure.

I ate at Incognico with a group of 8 others earlier this week.

We booked through a London Eating deal, and then proceeded to turn up late, with one less person than promised, and took ages to order. In short - we weren't ideal customers.

But despite all this, Incognico was amazing, proving itself to be - in my opinion - one of London's loveliest restaurants. They were incredibly accomodating and polite to us, the service was discreetly excellent, and everyone's food was utterly delicious. Also the atmosphere in there is perfect - it is busy but because the tables aren't crammed together, we could hear ourselves speak, which was great as it was partially a business-supper.

I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. We will all definitely be returning.

We went for the £22.50 special offer on the 11th April. We arrived at 12:00 and, as you would expect it was very quiet on arrival. We had one of the best quality meals we've ever had and were surpised that the restaurant didn't really get very busy during our stay. The decor and environment are very pleasant and the service was very good. However the most impressive aspect was the quality of the food. We got our complimentary glasses of champagne on arrival, which were lovely. I opted for the Salt Cod whilst my wife had the Goats Cheese Ravioli for starters, both of which were great. Next I had the spatch cooked quails which were described as 'boned' - I mistakenly read this to mean having had the bones removed whilst it actually signifies that they are on the bone, not a bad thing as they tasted divine! I had the warm chocolate mousse for desert which was also georgeous.

The only thing that was slightly below the rest of the restaurants very high standard was the coffee which was extremely strong (the filter coffee I had tasted as strong as a normal double espresso). However this did not really dent an extremely enjoyable occasion, which also happened to be very good value for money. I'm sure we'll be going back.

Went here inspired by the special offer which was unbelievably good value given the high prices on the a la carte menu, from which you are free to choose anything you like. Lovely champagne brought straight away, be careful ordering additional drinks if you are on a budget as it could easily get out of hand !

Very attractive rooms, tables well spaced but overall rather a businessy, expense account kind of atmosphere (lots of suits). My only gripe was the speed and over attentiveness of the service, when about the sixth waiter had asked if we were ready to order pudding, we had to point out that we had come for the evening and weren't in a hurry to leave.

The food was top notch. I was happy to have tried it on the special offer but I wouldn't go there full price.

A warm welcome can make such a difference to a dining experience, and we were certainly off on the right foot at Incognico. It has been some time since we have been here and there have been some changes. The stuffy, stiff upper French lip has been replaced, an Italian manager now graces the floor and the improvements are reflected by smiles on faces. There is a definite Italian influence on the menu as well, classics such as “Escalope of Foie Gras with Orange” and “Tian of Crab & Avocado” sit alongside dishes such as “Veal Milanese” and “Wild Mushroom Risotto.”

The food itself was among the best I’ve eaten in a long time and was complimented by an extensive yet reasonable wine list.

I have read other reviews of this restaurant, and the only complaints I could find were that the restaurant was not busy enough. Well I can assure everyone, this will not last. My guests and I had a wonderful evening and we will return. (five out of five)

I went to Incognico last night with my family, taking advantage of the three courses for £22.50 with a free glass of champagne deal. The food was excellent. I had the goats cheese ravioli to start, the roasted boned quails for main, and the apple crumble for dessert. The quail was the highlight of the meal, superbly cooked. All three of my courses were very good, as were the rest of the dishes that came to our table. Also boasts a strong wine list and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant on a saturday evening to take advantage of the 3 course meal + glas of champagne for £22.50 before 7.00pm. The food was a good mix of modern european and excellent value for money. The highlights were the goats cheese ravioli and the duck (last chance before the flu takes over). The decor was relaxing and set the mood for fine dinning. The manager was very charming and obliging with our requests. Recommend a visit.

I took my boyfriend to Incognico as a birthday treat and we were not disappointed. They even put a candle in my boyfriend's desert and wrote happy birthday icing on his plate. Luckily they didn't sing happy birthday!

There were many waiters and waitresses who didn't speak any English at all but this just added to it's style! I did find the decor a bit bland but there was a great loud but not unbearable atmosphere.

The food was all excellent but we were disappointed that it was another of those restaurants where you pay nearly £20 for the main course and all you get is meat! You need to order vegetable sides!

The wine list was very overpriced considering the range of average wines they had. All old world which was a bit disappointing.

The service was slightly over attentive at times with waitresses taking your plates whilst you are eating your last mouthful! But at least we weren't waiting around for our food.

A great experience all round, but even with the special course offer, still very expensive!
