The best in London. Excellent price and excellent food. I was recommended by the lawyer from the States, George Conley. 10 out of 10. I even met my future bride there. Is that good or bad??

Went here with friends on a Sunday; took advantage of the 50% off offer on this website. The food was delicious; one of those rare ocassions where everyone enjoyed their food. Decor and atmosphere great, friendly service. Refreshingly different from other Greenwich restaurants. Give it a go.

Since moving to Greenwich thee months ago we had formed the opinion that good restuarants were few and far between but were happy to find your site and North Pole was our first restuarant chosen from it.When we arrived we were immedially met and our coats etc taken and seated. We were

in the main room with a grand piano being played expertly in the corner which my partner loved. The decor in the restuarant was a step above the rest.We found the service to be friendly and exceptionally good.We had tiger prawns and thai fish ckes for entrees and sea bass and duck breast for the mains all of which were well cooked with great flavours.I finished with the bread and butter pudding which was perfectly cooked although a little sweet for my taste.

Great atmosphere, great food and service in all a perfect night out.

Went there with some friends on Sunday before Bnak Holiday about 3:45pm expected it to be packed but got a table straight away.

I have walked past this place so many times so went in on the off chance, I am so glad I did what a great place. the food is fantastic and a great wine list too.

The fish cakes were superb and the best pasta I have had in a long long time.

My friends were equally impressed opting for two starters which were great as I tasted them all.

the place is child friendly and even has a kids menu.

the best restaurant in greenwich by far and reasonably priced £130.00 for 4 and a child this included three bottles of very good St Veran

Feeling like we deserved a good night out on last saturday, my partner and I decided we'd try and get a table at North Pole and couldn't believe our luck when, at such short notice, they said they could squeeze us in.

Everything on the menu sounded delicious so making a decision was difficult. In the end I opted for the Soup of the Day which was Tomato and Red Pepper and my partner had the Terrine of Ham Hock. We choose an Austrailian Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the meal. My soup tasted great and was just what I needed on a cold winter's night to warm me up. My partner was also extremely pleased with his terrine though thought that he could have done with a little extra bread. The wine was a little oaky and not to my partner's taste but I enjoyed it.

For my main course I ordered Fillet of Beef with a parmesan gratin and my partner had roast pork and we also shared some green beans. Both were big portions and quite rich so I struggled to finish mine, though it was delicious. I asked for the beef to be cooked medium-rare and it was definately more on the rare side but it was very good quality and it felt like it was melting in my mouth-scrumptious!

Despite my full tummy I still had room for desert and I wasn't dissapointed. I opted for a Passion fruit Creme Brulee with a fruit coulis. The brulee was just how it should be-so solid on the top that it required some effort to break into it and then it was beautifully creamy underneath. The passion fruit complimented it well. My partner ordered an Apple and Pear tart - an unusual choice for such a fruit-phobe, but he absolutely loved it. We finished the meal off with a couple of glasses of Amaretto-Perfect!

We went for our xmas party and boy did we have a good time! We started in the VIP room in the ground floor bar and then went up to the restaurant where we sampled the Modern European delights. We were all thoroughly impressed and agreed that the service and food were superb. The pianist on the grand piano really set a grand atmosphere. We then made our way down to the South Pole disco where we boogied the night away till 2am and a special note of thanks to the doorman who organised our taxis home (especially Mr Currie - the ex British Heavyweight Boxing Champion!). We had a great night and would certainly give the whole North Pole experience 10 out of 10!

I agree with the previous anonymous reviewer wholeheartedly, this is one fine establishment. Have lived in Greenwich for about five years and have used most of the eateries and have finally concluded that this is top of the list. The ambience is superb with resdient pianist on the grand piano, the decor very swish and the food and service fist rate.

Headed to the North Pole on a Sunday evening. The following Friday we were back again for another quality night. That speaks for itself I think. The food was top quality and the wine list excellent. The staff very helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will be back again very soon.
