This is a really cute little restaurant on Chiswick High Road.
We went along around 8pm on a Thursdday evening, and were the only diners there to begin with, although locals trickled in later on...
On entering, we felt immediately relaxed by the romantically draped ceiling, candles twinkling and the North African music.
We started with various classic nibbles such as hoummus and pitta, then moved onto to two huge Tagines - mine with deliciously flaky trout, and my boyfriend's with pretty much a whole shank of lamb - which were so good we had to wipe the plate clean with the remainder of our pitta...
We were too full for any pud, though were tempted by a shisha as digestif!
The service was friendly but discreet, and it was excellent value for money.
We were even given a voucher for a free bottle of wine on our next visit, regardless of numbers/size of bill, and will definitely be going back soon.
This is a really friendly, relaxed place to eat a hearty flavoursome stew.
