your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

Having read some good and some pretty awful customer reviews, we tried Frankie's last Friday evening.

The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were friendly and efficient, both courses were of a far higher standard than we expected and the wine was excellent value.

Can't say any more - we will certainly be going back.

I have visited Frankies in Chiswick on 4 or 5 occasions now and absolutely love it.

The decor and athmosphere gives the impression of a vastly more expensive restaurant and the staff are very friendly.

The food was fantastic on every visit including he set Xmas dinner for my works doo that I organised there.

The only slight criticism would be that servi9ce can be slow but this never bothers me as I enjoty the ambience so much! This never effects the standard of the food which is always hot and well cooked...

Thoroughly recomended place..... Great for dinner dates or just with friends and family

Booked a table for four at the Chiswisk Frankies for Mother's Day. Very disappointed. Table booked for 4.00pm which admittedly was at the end of what muat have been very busy period. Nevertheless having been seated we waited 30 minutes before we finally got the attention of a waiter to take our drinks order. Drinks then took another 10 minutes to arrive. The bottle of still water that was ordered never arrived. My wife ordered the sea bass with a side order of fries. The fries didn't arrive without a reminder that they had been ordered. I ordered a classic burger medium cooked. When the burger arrived it was raw in the middle. We left very disappointed and declined to pay the optional service charge. We did receive an aopology from the head waiter an offer of a discvount on our next meal which we declined. We will not be returning.

I ate here Sunday for Mothers day and had an aweful experience. the decor of the restaurant was nice and looked promising but after we were seated we were left at our table for 30 mins without being offered any drinks or anything else. Eventually we flagged down a waiter. We ordered our drinks which took 20 mins to arrive and they had forgotton our jug of water. We ordered our food which took about half an hour to arrive. 2 of us had ordered Burgers one well done and the other medum, when they arived they were both rare and bloody. They had also forgotton 2 portions of chips which we had to ask for again. When the chips arrived they were under cooked. To add to our unsatisfactory dinner they insisted on playing this aweful "authentic" italian music non stop at quite a loud volume which was highly annoying. At the end of the meal I asked for the optional service charge of 12.5% to be removed, I explained to the waitor about the poor service and he asured that this doesnt normally happen, but I certainly wont be dinning there again.

A very impressive restaurant and bar with an exeptional interior design. The restaurant set the atmosphere for a superb evening dine with my girlfriend at Frankies in Chiswick last night.. I loved the decor very glitzy and the food was definateley worth its weight in pound sterlings. The staff were very friendly but seemed over stretched at times, however the presence of a magician entertaining on the table oppisite and receiving one of frankie's little packages at the end of the night made it interesting...Highly recommend

I took my family to Frankies on a Saturday afternoon in Spring. We had been to Pug the previous restaurant which we liked a lot.

We were knocked out by the interior, surely one of the most spectacular eating environments in the Londodn area. All smoked glass, leather table cloths and mirror balls. The service was good although not overly friendly. We ordered 1 pork belly, 1 lamb steak and 2 pizzas for mains. Because my 15 year old son didn't want to order from the kids menu, he ordered the same pizza as my daughter form the adult one. When they arrived they were both identical but with a £4 price difference. I found this a little annoying

but we soldiered on.

I thought the food was very nice but overpriced by about £4 per item, my wife thought the food was average and overpriced.

If you want a special atmosphere to dine in then I recommend Frankies later in the evening when the trendy 20 and 30 brigade waft in and pose, not my thing but they obviously bring in the money, so who am I to object.

Frankies obviously caters for a precise crowd and I think it pulls it off - I could have done with a few more smiles and more attentive service.

Average in the extreme. Lacking in atmosphere, the food was boring and unimaginative (but still £15 for main course). The crockery was chipped and the staff seemed untrained. I wouldnt bother going

I'm nothing short of high maintenance when I eat out :-) as I know what I like (!) and I'd give this restaurant a clear 8 out of 10. The service was first class; the waiting staff attentive, pleasant and accommodating with our every request. Loved the interiors - very glam and intimate. The lentil soup was devine but my beef slightly on the dry side. A nice excuse to have some ice-cream for dessert! Our bill was £160 for 4 people, but that included two bottles of wine and 12.5% service charge. All in all, an excellent dining experience and I look forward to our next visit.
