I'm nothing short of high maintenance when I eat out :-) as I know what I like (!) and I'd give this restaurant a clear 8 out of 10. The service was first class; the waiting staff attentive, pleasant and accommodating with our every request. Loved the interiors - very glam and intimate. The lentil soup was devine but my beef slightly on the dry side. A nice excuse to have some ice-cream for dessert! Our bill was £160 for 4 people, but that included two bottles of wine and 12.5% service charge. All in all, an excellent dining experience and I look forward to our next visit.

I booked a table here for Friday night for 16 and by time the evening arrived we were down to 10. This was a problem for them they simply re-arranged the seating without a hassle. The food is average grill food, the staff are good but un-organised and the atmosphere, well i think we were qite loud so we didn't see any atmosphere. 5 on our table are real foodies and we decided to give it a 6/10 an allround OK!

we visited frankies on sunday afternoon 7 may with my partners twins aged 13, mainly because advertising "child friendly". the first thing we were told was no child menu was available on sunday.!! The kids wanted pizza ah said the young lady thats ok we have a pizza menu,so that wasnt so bad after all.We have been told since this is not the case and childrens menu is available at ALL times and the restaraunt have expressed sincire apologies. The magic performed by a chap at the the table waa great and the food was good to.

Spent a pleasant evening here on a Thursday night. It wasn't very busy but what do you expect on a Thurs in Chiswick.
The service was good - fairly attentive and polite enough.
Food was good and good value. I had the belly of pork which was superb, although my starter of pumpkin ravioli wasn't outstanding - I'm still not convinced it was pumpkin. My wife's pizza was large and nice - although I think we both prefer what ASK have to offer in this respect.
All the ingredients were of good quality and everything was cooked and presented well.
The menu, as the name suggests, is heavy on the grilled food so if you are after rich italian sauces you will be dissapointed.
I'd definately recommend it for a not too expensive, smart meal in west london.

Booked a table for a pre Christmas celebration with friends. Despite being called in the morning to confirm the booking, when we arrived there was no table for us. It seems that the previous sitting was very late in arriving, result was that we didn't have a table. The staff didn't seem too bothered with explaining or apologising and we eventually left as they could not say when a table would be free and weren't really interested us. The Manager offered us a free meal to compensate and would be in touch, still not heard despite writing to complain. There are plenty of very good restaurants in Chiswick, Frankie's isn't one of them.

Well, it seems all the previous reviews were due to 'teething problems' considering the restaurant only opened in September. My husband and I visited on Valentines day - and we thought it was money well spent. The decor was nice - yes, some may say it was dark but it certainly sets the mood. The food was fantastic and the service was good. We were also pleasantly surprised when the bill came! I would recommend it and would definitely pay another visit.

I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but sadly it let itself down. I don’t usually write reviews on restaurants but this one really deserves it! The staff are rude, service is awful and they are too busy admiring themselves in the numerous mirrors to pay the dinners any attention. What is good about the place is the interior – very funky, however it is lacking the atmosphere it really should have. The maitre’d was extremely stroppy – I accidentally knocked my fork on the floor, I lent down to pick it up and then accidentally knocked a glass of wine all over the table. The maitre’d came running over huffing and puffing, I apologised to him several times but he just grunted back at me. Our paper tablecloth was not even changed so we had to sit through the whole meal with a wet table and they did not offer to replace the wine or the food. The meal (of only 1 starter, 1 pizza, 1 duck, 1 bottle of wine) came to over £100 – for this amount of money you do expect much better service. You are basically paying for the name – Marco has really let himself down here.

Having read all the poor reviews i was a little hesitant to book but thought i would chance it as chiswick is a little closer than getting into central London. Me and my husband dined on a saturday night and were pleasently surprised. The staff were very pleasent and attentive, the interior design was very funky with all the mirrors and disco balls, the food was fantastic (i had steak and my husband the pork belly all cooked perfectly). The chocolate mousse dessert was a little on the small side but tasty! The only negative is that it is a little over priced. It is charging quaglinos prices without the size and location to match!Altogether though a very good evening and i would dine there again.

This is our closest restaurant and we've eaten at this restaurant 3 times now. On each occasion it's been very good. I like simple food - steak, burgers, pizza and having stuck to those I can say that the food was excellent.
The service is not Michelin starred level, but then neither are the prices. I found the service to be no worse, and no better, than any other restaurant in Chiswick.
I think other reviewers may have been unlucky. I'm booking my fourth visit now.

Had dinner at Frankies last night. The place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. Food was excellent as usual. Service was shocking - a combination of a busy kitchen and an incompetent waiter. Everything had to be asked for twice. It's predecessor at the same location, coincidentally also had great food and very poor service. Over time the residents of Chiswick weed out places like this. Watch out MPW.
