Went there for my daughters 21st Birthday. Should have taken her to Mcdonalds it would have been far more enjoyable. From a celebrity chef expected something special. Presentation of the food was terrible, taste was awful, service left a lot to be desired. Zero atmosphere. I can't begin to say how bad it was. I never been compelled to write on a review board before, but need to say the worst meal out have ever experienced, and he has the nerve to criticize others. Sort out your own backyard first!!!

When you read the name Marco Pierre White you expect great food, no matter the price (I mean even if it's cheap, surely you anticipated something simple and fresh) But unfortunately it wasn't at all the case. The mozzarella was at least one week old, the gnoccis were swimming in oil and cold and the dessert was like a jawbreaker.

I must say- very disappointed. and I strongly do NOT recommend it. Last saturday I went there with my friend to try some offer- 2 courses for £14.50. Our starter was mozzarella (stiff and obviously not fresh) with tomatos and avocado. Nothing special. Mozzarella definitely not tasted like good,Italian cheese- better quality mozzarella you can get in supermarket. And than you can be sure that it will be fresh at least.

Main course- something called Creme Alfredo what turned out to be burned pancakes stuffed with spinach and covered by some sauce. Unfortunately, I couldn't find chicken in it at all, even was mentioned in the description. And also- it wasn't fresh, just probably warmed up last week leftover.

When I asked for sparkling water the waitress asked if I want bottled one. Sure. But the bottle was 750 ml! (3 glasses only for myself). How thirsty can I be?

Very interesting cutlery- the knife looks like some kind of butcher's tool (probably to make you able to cut hard, unfresh food).

Overall- place looks like nightmare.Nothing matches. Disco balls and mirrors (70's club) plus checked tablecloth reminding village grandma's kitchen....

This Frankie's is very close to where I live, and we do not go there often enough. Service and food have been impeccable every time - I especially recommend the burger.

Weirdly it never seems very busy, although this may have to do more with the fact that it's at the end of Chiswick High Road and it has a sort plant covered outdoors terrace bit which might make it easy for people to just walk past without realizing there's a restaurant there. In any case, Frankie's is far better than a LOT of the other chains further up the high road, so give it a go!

What a special place! A fresh breath of air, as the atmosphere and decor are in a genre of it's own. Something different! Each course delicious and not OTT! My partner and I will definitely revisit your restaurant.

What a great find. Unpretentious proper food in the most amazing dining room. I couldn't believe the interior when I came in from the street, it's stunning.

Two of the party had pasta which was authentic and generously sized, another had a classic burger, all great.

I notice they have a funky private room too which I will now be booking for my birthday!

Frankie's Braganza was a lovely find for us - I don't know what must have happened to the other reviewers below but we had a great time.

The food was delicious and hot and we thought very reasonable priced. we stayed for a couple of drinks in the bar afterwards.

Staff efficient and friendly - suitable for a local restaurant

This is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in London. We went to the south kensington branch. The entrance was full of deliveries and looked like a storage room. There was nobody at reception. Waited. And waited some more while the bartender unpacked his deliveries. Manager came over to us chewing. The place was dirty and mirrorballs covered in dust. Someone may want to change a few light bulbs. Had a quick drink and had to carry it myself to our table which was wobbly. Ordered our food and they didnt have it in stock. Ordered again. The salad looked like a 4 year old had made it and resembled a bowl of soup with the amount of dressing it had on it. My pasta literally was SOUP and lay flat and lifeless on the plate, inedible. The same cd played over and over I can still hear it. Loos were unkept with paper on the floor and a bin that didnt open. Frankie and Marco, I suggest you buy a balaclava with the £100+ you robbed from me. Sort yourselves out.

I booked a table for six on Saturday 11th April 2009. General ambience and welcome was great. Staff were attentive and took our coats and allowed us the time to have a quiet drink before the meal. Its a shame the place doesnt have a specific lounge area with couches to do that though. It was a quiet night in the restaurant. Orders were taken and delivered promptly and the staff were informative about the menu. One big disappointment though was the fact that home made pizza and calzone is no longer on the menu.... even though Frankie is italian! The food itself was tasty. The only shock was the £22.00 service charge which was on the bill which some people probably dont know is optional. Fortunately I did. Overall a nice venue but the choice of menu was disappointing. We went last July and thoroughly enjoyed it but on this experience wouldn't be drawn back ...unlike Ramsays' Devonshire; a short distance up the High road.
