I have visited several more expensive, up market restaurants in London before visiting Toto's on Friday 17th March. The service was exemplary, the atmosphere convivial, and the food was simply stunning. The lobster linguini was first class with plenty of lobster, and the fillet with foie gras was cooked to perfection. Macdonald style fries were the only thing that spoiled the meal. I rate this as my favourite Italian in London.

I have received too many recomendations from many friends.. So I decided to see the restaurant by my own eyes...

The Atmosphere was very friendly, and the food is exquisite..

A place to go when visiting London.

I will be there in my next visit March 2006 :-)

I have been to many restaurants - all over the U.S. and in London. If I want the BEST meal and the Best ambiance, I go to Toto's. Paolo Simioni is truly one of the best chefs around. His presentation is impeccable, his use of ingredients, superb! You must go to Toto's. London has many restaurants, this is one NOT to miss!

I have to say this restaurant is very much over-priced for what you are getting.Yes the food is good and the service is good however considering there are so many italian restaurants in london i wouldnt say it is that much better. If this restaurant was in Italy it would be at least half the price. The clientele it attracts is mostly bankers and older people so relative to them it isnt expensive but personally i much prefer smaller establishments who focus on the food than the image. Remember Italian food isnt a delicassy like Japanese food so it does amaze me how how u can ask for £22 for a main meal and at least £22 for a cheap bottle of plonk. If u were to have a table of 5 you could quite easily end up with a few hundred pound bill which in my opinion is not good value for money no matter how good the service, ambiance or food is.

I personally think that this is the BEST Italian Restaurant in London. The food is heaven for the mounth and for the senses. The clientele of all ages, and you can feel a real sense of luxury inside. Everytime a go there I am treated as a Queen. They have a wondeful garden outside for the summer and two floors of luxurious inside seating. A wonderful Venetian Murano glass chandelier as their logo you will be amazed to find it up on top of you when you go to eat their lighiting up the whole resaturant. My favourite dishes are the Fillet of Sea Bass in Crust of Potatoes and Amarone Wine Sauce and the Tagliolini with Lobster and fresh tomato and spring oinio sauce.

I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone and if you are in London go there or you are missing one of Londons Five Wonders!

Well done to Executive Chef Paolo Simioni and his team for always giving such excellent food and service!
