The Terrace Restaurant

Had a very nice meal last night in The Terrace restaurant although it was not full, can understand with the credit crunch at the moment. The food was well prepare and presented, the staff with a lovely smile, make us feel very special. Cant wait for the weather to change to have sit outside on the terrace.

This place has been quite a regular for me and my wife for the past 8 months. I find it very friendly and the quality of the food is excellent, well presented. The staff make you feel welcome. I am having my 10th wedding anniversary there in the summer, i am sure my family and friend will be amazed by this llittle hidden gem in the back street of kensington.

Each time I visit London I always make a point of going to The Terrace restaurant in Holland Street and I am never disappointed. It is most definitely my favourite restaurant in London. The food is completely delicious authentic french with a menu that makes it very difficult to choose.

During my recent visit it was a wonderful sunny day and we made full use of the pretty outside terrace.

The location is really nice, because is a very quite street where you can enjoy the food and relax.

I would thoroughly recommend it.

We had a fantastic dinner in your restaurant. Thank you for making our evening one to remember. Your staff is very professional and do a great job. The food is fantastic I I was very impressed for the large choice of wine.

The charming little Restaurant in the back street of Kensington is really a Gem. Through the whole evening my friends and myself were so happy with the food, service and the amazing ambiance that we book for Christmas day lunch.

I would certainly recommend everyone viewing the resto on line give it a try.

I was at The terrace last night with my friend to celebrate Thanks giving, have to admit every thing was fantastic, from the wine , the food and the staff. Cant want to come back with my family in January next year.

My wife decide to celebrate my 40 years birthday at The Terrace last sautuday, It was a suprise for me, only my relatives and the Restaurant knows about it.

Anyway let cut it short. One of the best birthday i have had in this restaurant.

The food was well prepare and very tasty, service was very quick, the staff are ver y friendly with big smile. The music in the background make the place lively.

I will recommend this place to anyone visiting london or living nearby.

In the end my wife told me the reason she choose The Terrace is because her boss told her about this place.

A night to remenber. Thanks to all the staff

Would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was terrible, and i found the food bland and overpriced! This is the second time i have been there, once during the week and the other over a weekend- both night were quiet!

Just got back from my first - and probably last meal there...

Ambience-wise it was very noisy indeed. Our waiter forgot to bring menus to start with and when the food eventually arrived it didn't arrive at the same time.

Menu was full of yummy sounding things - but some portions were very small, and it was hard to understand exactly what you could order with what - as different things are available on the set and a la carte menu's.

Three out of the four of us enjoyed our food - really let down by the service. The bill included an 'optional service charge' to which VAT had already been added - so to ask for a deduction would have caused a scene, so I paid, but I felt that the service did NOT justify the tip - probably why I'm bothering to write this.

Had my 50th birthday party at The terrace on friday 29 june with 30 ladies what a special day it was.I will always remember how everyone involve on the day have made my birthday so special.

To describe this local restaurant in the heart of kensington you have to try it

yourself. I have been to The Terrace on number of occasion , always have been a great experience for me and my friends whom i have introduce in the past.

Its a pity with the rainning season at the moment difficult to sit on the outside terrace but still we find this place amazing. might not be the busiest resto in london still service , food and lovely staff are always 100% commited.
