Found this restaurant by searching for an Indian near Notting Hill. It was the only one, but I am pleased I found it. The food was nice and the service efficient and friendly. The evening was only spoilt by the two chimneys sitting next to us. Not a moment went by without one of them smoking. I am not sure if the restaurant has a no smoking section, if they do we were not offered it. Note to Manager if you don't already have a no smoking room, you should adopt one before we come back.

Great Food and friendly staff.
It has got really good vegetarian options and in all the dishes you can taste and identify the fresh ingredients which is pretty uncommon. They also have a really good range of dishes - not the usual bog standard meat 'n' creamy curry sauces that you get in so many other places. I'd recommend the curried pumpkin, and the lamb and spinach.

I expected quite something when booking in advance based on the "bib gourmand" notification in the Michelin Guide. But I was rather disappointed: food was ok but the atmosphere wasn't: bright lights, no music, absolutely no slow food (or is that a cultural difference?).
