We went to this restaurant for a friend's Birthday and had a table booked for 8pm. for 10 people.

We arrived promply at 7:50pm and were seated at our table. Our order was not taken until 9:20 pm , the waiters just walked passed us, our starters didnt come till another hour later (10:20), after we asked where the food was.

Some of us ordered the starter platter which was a good mix of different starters, but the quality was average, especially after waiting two hours to see some food. The vegetarian soup was good however

At 11 pm the food arrived, the pad thai was good and well presented, the pineapple fried rice was very good but the portion was quite small. All in all the food was average.

We had brought a cake to cut, which was left on the reception table in full view of the birthday girl , which was not very delicate of them, after they lit the cake in full view of the table which spoilt our surprise.

I had expected a lot more from Mango tree dining experience, the service was awful, the atmosphere was very loud, i felt more like i was in a canteen than a restaurant , we had to shout to be able to converse with the person next to us,

The food was ok, not amazing but was very pricey for the quality, the price does not reflect the quality.

There are so many better restaurants in london. i will not be going back any time soon.

Place was very noisy and it seemed that the restaurant was determined to pack as many people as possible. We ordered starters which were quite frankly terrible.NO TASTE. The main course was very bad, the pheasant was quite good but other dishes like fish or beef were nothing special and disappointing given the fairly high price. Been asking to bring lemon, so in the end no lemon only lime. :-( then hot towels for the hand they gave as when we had our dessert ( what can i say) Very bad service!!!! In the table was some mess no one come to clean!

There are so many other far better Thai restaurants in London I would certainly not be going back there for sure!

Disappointed!I have never tasted such bad Thai food in my life.

Have walked past many times and heard good worth of mouth recommendations. We booked a table through toptable, getting 50% of food - glad we did this as I don't think I'd be happy paying full price for food than honestly tasted like the sauce came from a jar - although a nice jar! Service was prompt but we struggled to understand the staff. When the bill arrived we noticed we were charged for 2 bottles of wine that were twice the price of the wine was had asked for. I spoke to a member of staff about this but could not understand what the reply was, when I asked if it would be corrected I had to guess from nodding heads. The correct bill was then produced but we were told that the waitress had made a mistake and would be paying the balance of the wine herself - rather unprofessional. Don't think I'll be returning.

Having been to the amazing Awana Malaysian Fine Dining Restaurant, I thought i'd try Mango Tree (Sister Restaurant of Awana). Mango Tree was just as good and my partner and I had a great time! The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the pad thai noodles and the spring rolls! The only thing I would complain about, is the restaurant being very noisy as it is very crowded. The service was great and all the staff look very presentable! Will return back soon most definetly!

I saw this place feature in Gordon Ramsay’s programme and wanted to try out their signature dish of pheasant so went there with 4 friends on Saturday for dinner. It wasn’t a comfortable dining experience: we had to shout across the table to have conversation as the place was very noisy with the diners’ voices echoing around the place, and it seemed that the restaurant was determined to pack as many people as possible, with tables being very close to each other and the 5 of us squeezed into a table for 4. Undaunted, we ordered starters which were quite frankly terrible. The chicken and prawn salad was drenched in sweet chilli sauce and so sickly that I couldn’t eat more than 2 mouthfuls. We had to try hard to persuade the waiter to take the salad back as he initially refused to acknowledge that the salad was not quite edible. The spring rolls were completely dry and half empty with bits of rubbery prawns. The main course was ok, the pheasant was quite good but other dishes like green curry were nothing special and disappointing given the fairly high price. We got the 50% off deal but most of the dishes were not under the deal so our choice was very restricted.

Perhaps it mainly caters for large groups celebrating birthdays or office parties so the quality of food is not their priority. There are so many other far better Thai restaurants in London I would certainly not be going back there.

I have to say, after reading the reviews i wasn't sure it was worth going.

But I went and it was a nice surprise.

I saw it on Gordon Ramsey as well and I was intrigued to try the Gai Yang - the poussin grilled. It was delicious. Am not a big fan ordering chicken at restaurants as they usually over cook it but on this occassion it was moist and very tender. Packed with flavours. Very lively and busy. Everybody really close but made it an intimate feel.

We went there last week as a friend of mine recommended this place because it was in one of Gordon Ramsay’s show.

Disappointed!!!! I have never tasted such bad Thai food in my life. The starters were so bad that we a party of eight only ate half of it. The chicken and beef skewers were cold from inside and had no taste what so ever.

The mains were awful as well. It was so bad that we thought about walking out right after starters but then stayed for mains that maybe they will be better.

I will not even recommend this place to my enemies...

Never A more disappointing place to eat than here. They focus more on ceremony than on service or food. Worst service ever, it took 45 minutes for us to receive our starters and then only half of them arrived. Main then took another hour to come. Received many apologies from staff for late/non receipt of food, but service did not speed up!! Food is mediocre, certainly not what the prices or the name the place has warrant. I complained( The manager couldn't even make eye contact with me!!) and received £100 compensatory vouchers, what a joke, we will NOT be going back. By the way, it's overpriced even with the half price deals.
