I went to Noura for Dinner last evening (07/02/07) to find that everything was, is and hopefully will stay the same as ever, a warm, friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

We enjoyed every dish that came. The waiters were charming and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago after a fairly long absence. On previous visits I had always enjoyed the food and particularly the warm, friendly welcome and service. Having read a few of the reviews below it seems service may have slipped whilst I was away. To put your mind at rest, the service was excellent once again and the food is great.

This restaurant has attentive staff and a nice atmosphere. the food is just OK, not the best and not the worst. I know there are much better Middle Eastern restaurants in London...tons in fact so I wouldn't make a special trip just for Noura.

The hummus was bland, the tabbouleh was much too acidic and even caused a blister on my lip. The lamb kofta had tons of onion pieces in it which wasn't very nice but the chicken shish was good.

The pita was fresh and warm and the mint tea was nice.

It's reasonably priced and has a nice toilet area as well.

My husband (1/2 Lebanese) and I met a fellow Lebanese man at the theatre. We started to talk about the wonderful cuisine and he recommended the Noura, he said it is the best in London - he was so right! The food is amazing, the atmosphere fantastic and the service outstanding.

There is a vast selection of hot and cold mezze dishes and the kebabs for the main course are truly delicious.

The (free) salad items, i.e. radish, carrot etc. are basic but that is the Lebanese way. A more adventurous salad that can be chosen from the menu is Fattoush, although this is not the best dish available.

We do not live in London but when we visit we make a point of going to the Noura - it really is a wonderful restaurant.

I went to Noura for lunch last Thursday (9.2.6) and enjoyed each and every dish that came. The waiter attending our table was charming and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I cannot praise the food highly enough and look forward very much to returning soon (I hope!)
