Went to Noura in Hobart Place last week with a friend from Canada who had expressed a preference for Lebanese food. The food was mediocre but what really ruined the evening was the surly and rude staff. We were ignored on arrival, nobody was interested in taking our coats and when we asked to change tables (ours was in direct line of the door and it was a cold night) we were told rudely "you will have to wait" even though there were plenty of tables ready. When we took issue with being spoken to like that we were just about shouted at. We were then brought food we had never ordered (and nobody apologised). Needless to say we will not be going back. I have never written a restaurant review before but was sufficiently appalled that I felt I had to. I wish I had read the other reviews on the restaurant before going.

I had a lovely time at Noura in Hobarts Place for my wedding anniversary.

The service was very friendly and the food so tasty.

We are definitely coming back soon!

Rudest staff I have ever met. They made repeated mistakes and then did not even have the decency to apologise. Overall I was left disatisfied and angry. Having been to Noura many a time I will never go again.

Visited 18/6/11 terribly disappointed as recommended. Food was uninspiring, and tasteless. We had the added bonus of miserable staff that literally threw my knife and fork down on the table. The atmosphere was dull and dreary. The only good bit about the evening was the excellent company of very dear friends.

Noura is a FANTASTIC PLACE!! i recommend any lebanese food lover to come and visit this place , surely the best lebanese restaurant in london in terms of service, class, and food quality, much better than all the other lebanese restaurants i have visited before.

The decor is quite classic but it looks very warm and comfortable. Me and my husband had a wonderful time and we will definitely come back , specially for the desserts, noura home made ice cream is a delight!!

keep it up guys!

My husband and I visited Noura Belgravia on Saturday 12th March 2010.We had tickets for a musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre and wanted a restaurant nearby, We chose Noura from one of the London Restaurant Guides online and telephoned to book a table . The restaurant lacked any sort of atmosphere, the service was dreadfully slow, the staff rude and the food was DREADFUL. I would never visit a Noura restaurant again.

i went for a meal here with my friend last night, and i am afraid to say that i was really dissapointed with the service here. As one of the past reviewers mentioned ' the service is a complete disgrace' . One example among many is that we asked for tap water which was brought to us in a jug with ice. I then said to the female waiter that was on duty last night , that i would rather have mine with out ice. She replied that it was'nt really cold and i replied that i'd really rather not have ice as i had a cough. Would you believe that she just put the jug of water on the table and just walked off with out a word!!. i had to ask another waiter in the end.

I would certainly never go there again. I think i will stick to the Volt lounge next door whose service is impeccable and the food much nicer

This place has a high standard of food and reliability and does very good wines from North Italy and Bekaa Valley to accompany. Can be a meal of hors d'oeuvres meze style, or starters and mains, they are cool about either. And some lovely choices like raw lamb tartare with garlic all i oli, or sojok spicy sausages with fried eggs, chicken wings and a really herby and lemony tabbuleh

On a weekday lunchtime we found service a little distracted and stuck in the central area organising one another too often. The free veg platters only free to those that asked for them. Otherwise bitter olives and a pickled chilli saucer. Bread a bit slow in coming at times.

But its a very good place. The food and wine and lack of pressure to move on are welcome and a lesson to greedy TV chef and chain type establishments that think themselves more important than the customer

We went to Noura Belgravia for my Mum's birthday as we are all fans of Lebanese food. We were not let down - the whole evening was fantastic. The food was excellent and the service was equally as impressive. Our waiter was very helpful, answering any questions that we had about the food and ensuring that whole experience was enjoyable.

The restaurant is immaculate and beautiful. You can see the kitchen as you walk in and it is spotless.

A meal for four (including four hot mezes, four main courses and rice dishes, one dessert to share and a bottle of wine) cost less than £150. I think that this was great value for money.

We will definately be going back!
