I had to organize a business lunch and my college suggested that I should try this trendy restaurant.

I had been there before but that I did not had the best experience, so I was a really sceptical about it but he convinced me telling me that every thing was different now!!!!

As soon we got in we were welcomed by this lovely hostess. They were really busy but they managed to give us a lovely table.

I have to say that his time every thing was different.

The service was outstanding and the food was great, we loved it and we defiantly will come back at any time.

I went here for dinner on Saturday with my dreamy date. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar, which is reasonably classy and unreasonably expensive, with remarkably uncomfortable chairs. To be fair, they did serve a generous portion of tasty, crispy Japanese rice crackers. Them's good eatin'.

Then to dine.

Neither of us felt like starters so we went straight for main courses - cod with pancetta for her, braised lamb neck crusted with herbs for me.

I did not taste the cod but apparently it was overwhelmed by the pancetta. The lamb was adequate - fairly tasty and tender but not meltingly so, with the herb 'crust' more like a paste smeared on. The small amount of kale upon which the lamb was served was neither partickularly tasty nor tender.

The side of mashed potatoes was delicious and smooth.

Dessert was a slightly overdone chocolate fondant with a ludicrously small, ungenerous scoop of iced cream.

The service was so-so, the decor abominable. I'm not sure what look they were going for (if any - garish-chairs-with-ugly-clashing-murals perhaps, in which case they succeeded admirably), but they managed to achieve ugly, classless and cheap. (And cheap it ain't).

It wasn't a dreadful meal, but it wasn't good either; it was quite expensive; and served in a truly hideous setting (I enjoyed my evening nonetheless, but that was due more to my sparkling companion than the restaurant). There is no reason to eat here. Don't.
