I had a terrible lunch here. Shockingly poor cooking and crazy prices. Do not go here, it is a complete rip-off.

My wife and I went there on Saturday 16/2/08 @ 6pm straight after the theatre.

Initially the service was a bit rushed as they thought we were going to the theatre, once that was sorted everthing became more relaxed and we had a superb meal.

The bill came to £171 which was a bit steep, however we did not cut back on what we wnted and we each had 3 courses each + wine and an Irish coffee, which was one of the best I have ever had.

We did not see any staff problems and the manageress was great. All in all a very good night and we will return

I just came back from a client lunch held at Santini's.

I am Italian and I am very critical about Italian food. However, this restaurant was amazing!

The Bresaola was fantastic, and the ravioli were just perfect!

The tomato and basil sauce which accompanied the ravioli was like the one of my father's. Was absolutely truly Italian!

The service was also very good, and staff was friendly, however the manageress had a loud and rude tone!

Overall worth going back, and taking my dad there too!

Fantastic Italian.Anyone who is anyone who knows Italian restaurants in london comes here.Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

We have been eating here for many years and recently have been more than impressed with the way Santini has evolved under Lauros hand.Keep up the good work.

We went for lunch yesterday. Busy place, excellent service performed by a waiter who was not Italian. We didn`t mind of course. From the beggining till the end the food was great and cappucino the best we ever had. The only down was the manageress swearing horribly at her staff.

I have being to Santini for the first time and I had a wonderful time. The food was good in my friends opinion, and for me was excelent.I had a succulent Carciofo Santini to start, which had a very special taste. For the main course I had a perfectly done veal milanese with rocket an tomato on the top.Absolutely delicious.Overall fantastic food and service,a lot better than I could expect.

PS:do not forget to try the special drink made from lemon sorbet prepared by the manageress.

On arrival we were infomed in no uncertain terms that we were early (2 miniutes!) and that they had not finished lunch until 4.30pm. Also "why does everybody panic the theatre is only around the corner" After the greeting we should have known better and moved on but time would have been pressing. The starter was crab which amounted to a Tablespoon, whilst enjoyable fro £17 was a complete ripoff. My partner for main course had Sea Bass which was "swimming" in oil which killed the delicate flavour of the Bass. My main couse was beef fillets was ok but VERY dry. I then had Ice cren with berries for sweet and my partner nothing, this with a bottle of 2002 Merlot came to £187. We live in Guernsey where I could Reccomend dozens of far superior restaurants where you would spend less than £60, but then again these rely on repaeat business which Santini obviously does not. I should just point out that apart from the Manageress the waiters etc were excellent.
