The Most comfortable chairs ever... Was tempted to drift off from the conversation.
Ok the glass features hanging from the ceiling does make you think their is danger of decapitation at any moment.
Warm service and extremely patient and friendly staff and that venison over-cooked the first time, but when they fixed it divine.
Excellent place.

We went there last night (Dec 20th) for a christmas drink and has booked a table for dinner. The bar was crowded and lively, but the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. We started a tab at the bar (they take a credit card in return for a ticket which you hand in when seated for dinner. Then you get your card back and the tab is transferred to the dinner bill).
The meals tasted great except for the vegetarian option (there was only ONE on the three column menu) which was average to nothing.
However the restaurant service was aboslutely dire. The drinks were really late, they forgot bread rolls and when asked brought them with the starters. We waited a while for the food and then all courses arrived within seconds of each other. We ordered coffee and tea and waited 15 minutes to be told they had run out and would I like some other tea?
However the worst thing for me was them losing the credit card used to set up the bar tab. When this finally turned up over an ohur slater, they had charged the entire bill to it without checking with us at all. When we said we wanted the bill split, and the hefty service charge removed we had to wait ages again. All in all their staff at the tables need a lot more training and the managers actually need to manage the customers rather than reacting to problems well after the event. Maybe its better outside the christmas season.

I visited this restaurant last week, I would just like to say what a fantastic place. The food was amazing, as was the service, and despite being such a beautiful venue, it was great value. I will be coming again!

Dined at Bank lastnight after the theatre with my girlfriend. We started off at the bar with a nice cold bottle of Pino Grigio served promptly by a friendly bar service.
Feeling a bit pekish we opted to dine in the restaurant. This was a very big mistake. Service was cold, boarding unfriendly. Then came the food. Presentation was fine, however looks were very deceiving, the fish was dry and the grouse barely cooked along with a very slimey texture. As for the sides of mash n' beans. Well any 3 year old could have prepared them and cooked them in the microwave like they did!
Being slapped with a £74.00 bill at the end was the final nail in the coffin.
Stay safe and stick to the bar.
