At the "Vicolo restaurant" you feel like being in Italy as the atmosphere is romantic, the staff is polite, proffessional and funny. In addition the food is delicious and fresh!

I will definetly recommend the "Vicolo" either if you want to organize parties, especially Christmas party as I had one there or if you want to impress your friends or fiance'!

Situated in the heart of London, yet cleverly hidden away from the usual bustle and chaotic distractions we are familiar with, this restaurant provides a pleasant surprise for all diners in London. The adequately sized and well thought layout creates with it brilliant atmospheric conditions that add to the overall dining experience.

The service was very prompt and welcoming, something increasingly rare to come by at many other restaurants today, so was very pleased. The good first impressions were not left disappointed by the standard of food, which excelled in extending the taste of Italy to your palette. The grilled Calamari starter is highly recommended, topped with a delightful homemade white wine, lemon and chilli sauce. For the main, after some hard deliberating, I finally decided on the chargrilled marinated leg of lamb, which was again delightful and delicious.

Myself and my party thoroughly enjoyed this little beauty and the evening it offered us. The food was excellent with nothing left to be desired. The quality of service and specialist knowledge on the menu provided another small touch we all appreciated. The friendly atmosphere added to the experience and all thought it was very reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend Il Vicolo for anyone seeking an intimate evening supplemented with excellent Italian food.
