Le Boudin Blanc

We knew this area, because we stay allways nearly around the corner, but never passed this restaurant. We had a lovely lunch here, and were surprised by the absoluty delicious food, a good advise by the sommelier to choose our wine and above all a perfect staff. We haven't experienced this before in our visits to London.

Lovely, lovely place. The food is always delicious, with the nice variety and not too expensive for such place. The wine list is to die for, with loads of excellent options, ranging from very moderately priced, but good picks to the very top end of the range. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderfully romantic. The only issue I have with that place is that the upstairs is lacking ambiance a bit -- downstairs is much cosier. Still, I highly recommend it!

A classic French restaurant in every sense. They had one of those menu's that you want to order everything from it as it all sounds great.

We ended up with mussels and steak tartar to start and followed it with pork belly, duck leg and sea bass for mains. All the food was great with my only complaint being potion size a little small ( my pork could have been twice as big and i would have finished it).

Desserts were okay, a slight let down from the other dishes.

Service was very quick and very friendly and the place and a nice cosy feel.

Wine list had a great choice but like so many places now huge mark ups on some of the wines, Chateaux des Annereaux 2004 (I think that was the year) was vastly overpriced at over £45.

Otherwise a great night out !

what a fantastic evening we had with my friends! the food was truly excellent, the staff are very nice and you feel welcome - some of the restaurants in london should do the same.

I really enjoyed the food here. Its very fresh and tasty. I had the lemon sole dish that came in a frying pan and was served with fennel and other vegetables in a lovely light sauce. It was very tasty and extremely fresh. My only complaint is that we sat upstairs and it was very stuffy and we felt squeezed in - but it was worth it for the lovely food.

Visited for lunch today and can only same how marvellous it was. Service attentive but not overpowering and excellent food. Perhaps need to looh at their portion control with the Mussels

Amazing food and service. I don't know how many times my husband and I have been there and we just keep coming back. The food is always great and the menu of the day always offer something different to try. This is a kind of a little secret that you would love to share with those you like!

I totally agree with the previous comments. I came last night with my friends(table of 3), we didn't book, but they managed to find us a table straight away even though it was quite busy. everything was excellent, the food and service and i would like to add something i have noticed, you really feel welcome in this restaurant, it is warm and charming and the staff are really nice and helpful. I recommend this restaurant if you want to have a nice meal with your friends and relax at the same time, because you feel in France ....................
