Hard Rock Cafe

My husband and I were craving some good ol' American grill and decided to try the Hard Rock Cafe after reading through some good reviews. The restaurant doesn't take reservations, so it is advisable to get there at least half an hour before the intended time to eat in order to get your name on the Wait List. Weekends are particularly busy but we waited only half an hour on a Saturday night.
The menu offers a reasonable selection of dishes, and prices are reasonable. I had a big steak and a Corono, my husband had baby back ribs and a massive cocktail, we both had huge desserts and the price came up to just under £50. We were expecting it to come up to a lot more so we were pleasantly surprised.
Taste-wise, the food is one of the better restaurants we've eaten at in London so far. They do some pretty unique sauces for the BBQ stuff, which you can't easily replicate at home. Also, we had the nicest waiter ever, who met our every need and more, and was extremely hospitable. Totally earned his service charge, we feel!
To sum it up, eat at the Hard Rock Cafe if you're looking for some filling portions, good service, decent pricing and the buzz of hanging out at a rock music eatery.

The Hard Rock Cafe has become my husband and I's favourite place in London. The Meals are plentiful and decilous, the staff are always friendly and go out of their way to help you, and the cocktails are huge and so so yummy!
It is a fantastic place to go out and have a great meal, few drinks and a boogie on the dance floor if your not too full! And if the conversation gets a bit dull just take a look around you for some amazing costumes, musical instruments and awards.
Without a doubt a must go to in London, I've been to other Hard Rocks in the world and this one Rocks them all.
There is nothing I don't like about this place. It's an excellent place to go for a great night out!

I have not been to this restaurant for about ten years now, i remember having good times there in the past though, my parents have been going there since the early days and took me there often as a child, can't wait to go back for my 21st and be able to actually appreciate the memorabilia. Further review will follow

Food was average and not a patch on the New York Hard Rock. On entering although there were vacant tables upstairs we were immediately ushered downstairs - as if we were not good enough clientelle for the upstairs area! When downstairs a member of staff (manager?) pushed me forcibly in my back telling me to "keep walking"... I refused to be put into a corner so we were grudgingly seated in a more open table!!!!Hard Rock London? - Been there - done that!!!

The portions are huge - that is because it is an American venue. Service - superb. The restaurant is 'loud' and not the place if you are seeking a quiet evening.

I have just been to this restaurant and I had an amazing time. From the momentI walked in the door is was genuine smiles and a superb atmosphere. The food - fajitas, ribs and the legendary burger were all delicious. The service faultless and the bar tenders chatty and to be honest very amusing. I would recommend this place to anyone. The guitars on the wall are also amazing. Hard Rock Cafe London YOU ROCK!

Without a doubt the worst meal I've had in the last ten years. The food was utterly inedible. Yet, ridiculously expensive
How difficult can it be to heat up a bit of rubbery chicken in the microwave? How can you charge six quid (that's about 9 dollars people) for some tasteless old bits of onion in fish-finger style breadcrumbs.
They couldn't even get the beer right. You put it in the fridge till it's cold enough people. THEN, you serve it to customers.
They dress their waitresses up to look like hookers cum pharmacists. And they're understandably surly.
I'm embarrassed that people come to London and think this is what we have to offer. Never again. there are some lovely restaurants in Mayfair people. Go there.

Did you all go to the same restaurant i did? Because I had the best time!! I went there last Saturday for around 6pm (to miss the rush!) Straight away the waitress made us feel welcome, giving us time to look at the drinks menu and then bringing our cocktails over straight away! We ordered our food and waited no more than 20 minutes. The service was incredible - our waitress was always around so we could order more drinks etc. The only thing that i disliked was the add on of 15% service charge. The bill was about 62 quid, going up to 76 with this. I got out 80 pounds and the waitress stood there for a bit and then said do you want the change?! I'm thinking i've just had 14 quid added on - you aint getting no more!!!
