I whent to HRC in london last september. we decided to eat there because we had been to watch the ultimate fighting championship the night before and wanted lunch before we set off home, me and my dad decided to go their because we always go to HRC's in other countries and decided to try this one. We didn't wait for our tables at all we where seated immediatly. we ordered out drinks and got them fairly quickly (there was a bit of a wait but only a couple of mintes which can be understood.) Are food came out quickly and was delicious, main course arrived about 5-10 minutes after starters which was a relief because we where both full up from the starters. The food was brilliant. My dad decided to buy me a margarita which was fairly expensive (£10) but overall it wasn't to bad on value, beings that it was double the size of what il usually get for about £5 and you get to keep the glass, the margarita in itself was one of the best iv'e had. The only problem was that they had run out of the glasses that they give you when you buy the drink so the waiter knocked a few quid off of the price as i went out for a fag and after a couple of minutes i came back in to still find my dad waiting, it turn't out that he had told the waiter (who was very pleasant) that i had been 18 the day before and i collect cool glasses so the waiter washed up the glass i was origionally drinking from, dried it and rapped it up, he applogised for it not being in a box but i was alrite with the bag i got for it and he didnt put on the extra price for the glass.

Overall great service and great times,

HRC is very good if your likely to get bored of the conversation because there is good music playing and plenty of things to look at.

When we left there was a bit of a queue starting to form so i guess it just depends on the time you go but even if you have to wait its worth it. I'd definatly go back there again.

Absolutely BAKWAS (RUBBISH) .Service, wait too long to be seated, you are going to a resturant and should not have to wait so long .Order is brought in intervals for 1 person at a time and having to ask for cutlery, napkins, ketchup etc.

Drinks taking long time to come .

You'll be in for a long wait.

When we turned up we were told there would be about an hour wait. After sitting outside in the freezing cold for over 2 hours (were told the bar areas were too full) we finally got seated.

Pleasant enough waitress, although no apologies for the extended wait.

We were brough our main course when we were half way through our starter. When you consider the size of the portions you'd really appreciate a few minutes break between courses. But, alas, no. The food was decent enough but you don't tend to enjoy it when you feel like you're being hurried through your meal.

Definitely pre-book if you want to go but I'm sure there are plenty of other places to get a decent burger in London.

Very poor

Booked as part of a package with the Apollo Theatre in Victoria - eat before the show - will not do this again.

Table booked for 5.30pm (needing to leave by 7.00pm for the show) but not seated until 6.20pm even though they knew we had restricted time. Set menu on this package was basic and applied rigourously (eg. soft drink included but not water. If water wanted you have to pay extra). Food cold on arrival and had to be sent back. Had to leave before eating the included destert due to time pressures.

Staff very apologetic (plenty of experience perhaps) but overall experience very poor. Not recommended.

A group from work decided to go out for the day up to London and the place chosen to eat was the Hard Rock Cafe. Looks fairly nice from the outside but as soon as you walk in thats as nice as it gets. Guided downstairs to a packed area, stopping in everyones way 4 or 5 times while we are directed to the bar. We had to wait 20 mins or so for the table, quite a long time but I can accept they are busy. Eventually we were seated at a table which would be politely described as cosy!! Bearing in mind our group of 9 are all pretty slim we just about managed to fit in. We ordered our starters and waited a fair while for them to arrive. They all looked very nice and large portions so we tuck in..... oh dear no cutlery!! So we ask for some knives and forks, we then wait, and wait, and wait a bit more. Then after asking a few times great they cutlery arrives.... 4 forks!! Forget it we'll use our fingers. So we tuck into some half decent cold starters. Then when were nearly done more forks arrive and a few knives. Apparently they had run out?? Then when they come and collect our plates were told to keep our dirty cutlery so we can use them for our main!! Next onto our mains, half an hour later they arrive, well some of it arrives. For the four of us who chose fajitas our wraps and fillings had arrived but no meat. Everyone else eats and just as they are finishing off some 15 minutes later our meat arrives. By then our side orders of chips were cold but to be fair they were replaced no problem. I was pretty put off by this stage so only ate a small amount which wernt that great. Other people were quite happy with their food so not all bad. Tables probably took another 25 minutes before being cleared and drinks were taking a good 20 minutes to come after being ordered. Deserts were requested by a few but one asked if he could have a desert to which the waitress replied yes but then walked off! So he had to wait another 10 minutes before she came back so he could tell her what he wanted. Had our desert and a few more drinks then asked for the bill. The bill arrived and automatically included was a £43 pound service charge on a bill for £330. Im happy to pay for service provided it is half decent. To be honest the waitress was fine but we all agreed it had been poor all the way through our visit. So we came up with the £330 plus a little extra for a tip. The waitress counts the money then with a funny look checks the bill. Then with a sarcastic comment of 'guess you want us to take the service charge off then' walks off. Great our meal is finally over and we can leave. By now we had been in there for 4 hours! Some of that time was because of drinking but mostly because of the severe delays in food and drinks being served to our table. The nightmare is over and we leave. All in all a really bad experience which spoiled our fun day out for our christmas celebration. Have since found out that others have also had the same problems previously. If only we had known that before we had gone.......

Hard Rock Cafe is definitely one of the best places in London to eat. It is amazing!!! I absolutely love it. Yeah, so what if there is a queue, the food and the service is brilliant. There is a fantastic atmosphere. I have five people in my family and we can never agree where to go, but if we are staying in London we have HRC every night, IT IS THE BEST!!!!!

Absolute rubbish, what an appalling place !

The entire upper floor was closed for food because the kitchen was being refurbished, turning the place into a giant waiting room for tables downstairs. Funnily enough, the expensive bar was working fine though, as the mug punters waited 90 minutes to finally get seated.

Lukewarm bog standard "franchise" food, served to people who were past caring by the time it arrived anyway.

Ghastly, truly ghastly.

Best restaurant!!! YOU MUST BE KIDDING!!!

This place sucks! I've been to tons of Hard Rock Cafes and never have I ever moaned about one before until now. Looks great from outside but crowed (Ok so thats to be expected really) on the inside, we went downstairs and waited 25 minutes for table (again thats fine, dont mind)

Toilets were dirty and only 1 ladies working so kids were bursting!

When we sat down we ordered our favourite nachos, rubbish, so we left half of it and didnt moan. Something went wrong with the main as it took over 30 mins to arrive whilst everyone around us were getting theirs and out waitress kept confirming "its coming right up, 2 minutes!!" (HA!)

Then as hubbys came, the plate was so dirty it put him right off so he sent it right back and went without. kids food were not special, my salad was nice. So the manager did come over and offered us free deserts but by that point we didnt want his free deserts or money off we just wanted to leave and go to a better place!

Never again!
