Went to this restaurant with a group of girls.......(Frith Street). The service was very good, wine was tasty and the food was fabulous, you really must try the vanilla cheese cake.
We all had a good evenig and would def go back again....

Having written twice, once to the restaurant and once to head office I am still awaiting a reply to my complaint. Probably the worst meal I've had in years! A friend and I booked for a pre-theatre meal before going to the ROH a 7.30pm performance. Arrived at 6pm - the starter finally arrived at 6.40 and was inedible. "Stuffed peppers" which had an unripe tomato stuck on top of each half of the peppers with a lone anchovy draped across the top. Neither of us could eat the tomato as it was hard and stone cold. When the waiter came to collect the plates he did not ask us if everything was satisfactory which seems rather strange as our plates were virtually untouched. I had to ask twice for bread before it came. The main course finally arrived at 7.10 and we were unable to finish it before having to rush to get to the start of the ROH performance. At £52 this seemed a lot to pay out for a very poor starter and a main course we did not have time to finish!

Went to this restaurant last night as part of a dinner theatre packge with my girlfriend and was looking forward to a lovely evening. From the outside it looked very promising and was quite busy considering it was only about 5pm. However things changed when got inside. Was instructed to sit at the bar which we did however only arriving 10mins early, would have thought it would be ready as some free tables. The barman failed to aknowledge us while the waitress laid the table just behind us.
The set menu was a 4 4 3 format which sounded nice. We both chose the same food goats cheese with spicy breadcrumbs, ravioli and tiramisu. The starter was very creamy and in my opinion too big, the main was very bland with yet more cream cheese inside with an overpowering rosemary flavour and because of this gave up half way through, eventhough portion very small. The tiramisu was very light however it was far too big and both unable to finish it. The coffee to finish was extremely strong and even with a lot of milk did not change colour. In and out within just over an hour meant quick service but reflected in quality of food. All in all not very impressed considering it's covent garden location. Thankfully the show was brilliant and made us forget about the meal.

We went to London for the weekend and went to Bertorelli's as we had read some good reviews on the internet. It was a Saturday so the place was quite busy. We didn't book and only waited 5 minutes for a table. When we were seated they were very quick to take out order. When the food came out, all I can say is that they shouldn't had bothered. One person had Carbonara, which tasted like they had a salt mill in there. The lardons in it were sooooo salty you could barely eat it!! Another person had a spicy sausage pasta, minus the sausage. The pasta had been cooked and washed then reheated. I had a ravioli, the cheese sauce was very bland. Even a packet sauce would have been better. My husband and some sort of chicken dish, which came out rolled up like a pancake, with the smallest salad you have ever seen, and some french fries which look they came from KFC. The chicken was cold, so we sent it back and it came back hot, but so did the salad. Amazing what a microwave can do!!!!! Then we sent it back again and ordered something else. That was bland and he only had one mouth full. We complained and the only thing we paid for was the wine!!!!! The managers excuse was that the kitchen was having an 'OFF NIGHT'. What a joke. I would never go back to this place again!!!!!

Waited for an hour at lunchtime to get main courses for our table. The restaurant wasn't that busy. Chicken salad ordered turned up with no chicken. Two of the dishes ordered were wrong. I had to wait another five minutes after the rest of us were served because my order had gone astray. I ordered risotto, what I got was some dried up mussels, miniscule scallops and two squid sloshing around in some watery tomato soup with frozen peas. I presume the small portion of rice on the side was the 'risotto'. It bore no resemblance to any risotto I have ever had. I thought that it was just plain rice.
I will not be going back.
