I was at the restaurant last night and had an amazing experience!! Staff were very friendly right from booking my meal and then at the restaurant - felt very welcomed.

The food was lush - really enjoyed the crab cakes with a twist!

For my main I had the mexican fajitas - really good and filling!

Of course having the bar downstairs was good so we continued our night with some tasty mojitos.

will definately go again - the christmas menu looks great so hopefully then!

Last Friday went to Navajo Joe for a few drinks. The atmosphere was ok but the waitress serving us was so rude and though we were standing at the bar upstairs, she asked us to move which we found odd. When we told her that we were just finsihing our drinks and that she should not be so rude to customers, she called in the bouncer who without listening to us told us to leave - leaving our drinks half finshed. Will never go there again!

Visited this restaurant last week. Had 50% off food. We liked all the meals very much, esp. the steak, almost like "Gaucho's" :), also the cocktails were very tasty. This was the first time I have tasted proper, good cocktails in London. Mostly you get a glass packed with ice with the fluid of a "dirty dishwater" color, even at the expensive bars; not here, anyway. Another good thing: they don't add up a discretionary 12.5% service charge, it's up to you how much you tip. Nice touch. We will definitely return.

lets start with the good news shall we. The food was ok (lukewarm bbq wings???? however, the main was nice). Bad news: service was shocking.

I eat out quite often at different restaurants and NEVER have i waited so long for a meal. My friends and i arrived at 6.20 and ordered our starters and mains by 6.30. we got our starters in the next 20mins or so. Our waiter took ages 2 clear our plates. He hardly checked on us or asked us if we are ok either.

We then had to wait OVER AN HOUR for our main! people who came after us were getting their food b4 us. We asked whats the hold up, and he replies 'i dont know' and walks away!!?!?! There were no explanations or apologies for the delay whatsoever. 1 of friends had to leave because she had to go home and couldn't wait any longer.

We asked to speak to the manager, and he was no better. He said the reason for the delay was because we ordered starters???? and its a busy saturday evening (watch masterchef mate, and see how a busy session is dealt with! have a word with your head chef! Also go to nandos. That place is always busy and i get my food on time, everytime) excuse after excuse. How long does it take to cook SALMON, SPUDS and SOME VEG and THIN strips of chicken and veg for a fajita?????

Even if he couldn't see where we were coming from, he could at least apologise right? He didn't even do that!.. Needless to say, my friends and i are never going back there again, not even for a mojito!.... Nandos here i come!! lol they never let me down!

I live in london and avoid covent garden when eating out as it is usually full of expensive, overrated restaurants that cater for tourists. My opinion hasnt changed after visiting this place.

£16 for a burrito that was half the size of the ones i get from my little burrito place on my lunch break in farringdon, and three times as expensive.

Nachos had what tasted and looked like that cheap value cheddar you get from Tesco all over it. Congealed mess. It was seriously bad food.

It was also like eating in a nightclub, we couldnt hear each other speak with all the loud pumping music.

if you like good food, just don bother going here, ever.

Must say a wonderful evening on my wife birthday, as we didn't plan to go there,

it was a tuesday evening, with no booking, we was quick to be place to table.

The menu was very straight forward..My wife had the tiger prawn tempura with the soy, which i think as the tempura is a bit salt,my preview of it ,it should be serve with a mild spicy fruit sauce...but who am i to say... I had the duck salad with plum and sesame ..my main course need to be look at..it was exotic fish ..services was very good and fast i have seen in a long time,,must say well done to the waiter.....

It really helped boost my wife evening...

Went here yesterday and not terribly impressed I'm afraid. The only that was good was the service. Our waitress was polite and efficient and did check up on us regularly.

Food, though, was a big disappointment. It wasn't inedible, but certainly wasn't great. We had nachos to share as a starter. I love nachos, and have had them in a few places. These just weren't comparable. The portion size wasn't amazing for an American-style restaurant, plus some of the edges of our nachos were burnt. If you want good nachos, suggest Hard Rock Cafe, if you can put up with the noise. We paid extra for chicken on ours...really not worth it. Was just a few tasteless little cubes.

We both had fajitas for our main. They came on little iron pans, which I think should've been sizzling, but they weren't. The meat was slightly hard on the outside (made us think they'd been cooked on a George Foreman grill). There was far too much meat, onion and peppers, but the fajitas were tiny.

We had a voucher for BOGOF main courses (search around if you do go because this place often seems to have offers...I wonder why), but still felt that we'd paid too much for our food, even in London. Overall, not a great experience. Having looked around Covent Garden, I'm sure there are much nicer places to go for food.

Went to celebrate a birthday with 3 friends, good job we had nothing else planned for the afternoon only shopping. Even though we had booked a table the service was extremely slow, the staff were pleasant but uninterested.

Even when a glass was smashed next to our table, covering my foot with drink and glass, i didn't get an apology!

But to the food, the food was very nice when it did come, the portions of average size. The free Mojito cocktail we got at the end of the meal was wonderful, full marks to the bar tender!

Would i go again? probably yes, as a good location and ok food for a reasonable price.

Booked this for 7 adults & 1 child for a birthday party 7th August 2009, was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but decided to go anyway, and was really pleased that we went.

The food was very good, with the staff very friendly courteous and accomodating, we ate and drank at our leisure and were not rushed at any time.

Atmosphere was lively, a good time had by all. very good value for money given the 50% food reduction. Would be happy to recommend.

Service was excellent and prompt, the staff were very welcoming. We asked to be moved to a better position in the resteraunt as we were by the door, sitting in the window and the waitress was very pleasant and obliging. We have visited this place a couple of times now and find it a good reasonabley priced place to eat and drink. with a lively atmosphere.
