I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and I have to say it was amazing! the waiter was excellent, very attentive and great knowledge of the menu. The food was served quickly and was exceptional. I would definately recommend the margaritas, a fantastic way to finish the meal!

I have to agree with the majority of the comments about this restaurant and say that this was one of my worst dining experiences in London. My partner and I visited Navajo Jo on what was a special occasion for us and the food was atrocious considering this was in no way a cheap eat place. We ordered chorizo fajitas and tiger prawn tempura to start with. The tempura was actually delicious which gave us false promise about the standards of the other dishes. The chorizo fajita was much too salty. As a main, I had salmon - of which I only managed one bite and nearly spat it out in disgust. The salmon was BITTER! How can anyone go wrong with salmon?? When the bill arrived, it came to over £80 - for 2 rounds of watery drinks, two starters, two mains - one of which was not eaten. We were so disappointed by the whole experience we actually complained to the waiter - something we never do. This place has the potential to be so much better than what it is but right now it just smacks of disinterest by management and staff who are smug enough to know they will still receive customers - satisfied or not - due to its Covent Garden location. Please do not waste your money going here unless there is some radical change in the service and quality of food offered.

The decoration is nice but the food is the worst i have had in London in this price segment and the stuff was the rudest.
We were 6 people in the table 5 of us ordered well done steak. The definition for well done steak is: `Well done - (73.9°C/165°F degrees core temp) The meat is gray-brown throughout and slightly charred. ` But we got black at the outside and all red in the inside. in other words burnt a peace of `steak` when we told this to the manager he took our steaks to chef and came back with his empty hands and told us that the chef is embarrassed. thats it. No replacement, nothing!
Secondly 2 of my friends ordered coke but it came out to be a glass of ice with very little coke in it. one other friend ordered coke later on but it came the same and she told the waitress very nicely `i asked for coke not for a glass of ice can you replace the ice with coke` waitress took the galss of ice and brought coke back but slamed it on the table with the attitude...
It was my best friends birthday I bought a cake beforehand I wanted to made a suprise. We went for a smoke after accepting the appologies from the chef when we came back there was a whole cake on the table no candles etc. but with the steak knife. there was only 2 person at the table during the cakes arival... it all turned out to be a nightmare, shame on me... I am embarrassed to my friend...
In conclusion this place is far below the average in terms of service, food, stuff, but the decoration is good. The decoration cant feed me if it was I would make daily trips to tate modern...

I am a quite frequent wining & dining person and I have never had such bad experience anywhere else before.
I went there before and the service was poor but I though it might be just one off and did not even complain but obviously it was just the sign for worse!
We asked for well-done steaks but they came up burnt on the outside and red on the inside. When we complained very nicely to the manager he took them off the table saying he was sorry and came bask saying that the chef was very embarresed...which is ok even though he did not offer anything complementary for leaving us starving to death!
All our Cokes came as a glass of ice with a dash of Coke and when we asked them to be changed, all we got was "Well you have to tell me, if you do not want ice!" with an attitude from the waitress and a replacement banged and left on my table (she was not happy at all). We did want ice but wanted to have some coke as well!
Last of all.....It was my friends birthday and we had an amazing cake from Paul....as we went to the loo and some went to have a fag, the cake was left on the table, even WITHOUT a plate and just with a steak knife next to it so we can serve ourselves!
Apperantly the waitress came around with the cake and asked the only 2 people left at the table if we want the cake or would it be better if she took it back but our friends told her that she might as well leave it as she brought it around already as we were walking back to the table! Seriously it is not a rocket science that if you are going to ask such thing, you come to the table without the cake and ask when we want it!?
When we complained about all (and absolutely not even being loud at all), all we got from the manager was the schokingly rudest attitude ever and they brought us the bill straight away (without us asking for it) with the steaks that we did not even eat and 17.5%service charge included!!!
We had to leave more than half of our cake left on the table and without paying the service charge!
That place put us all in such shock and such bad mood on a very happy day, I had to write a review about a place on the net for the very first time.

Went there with one of the offers on the site. All rather filling and tasty and staff seemed friendly enough (though slight hiccup offering bread then never getting it). Selection on the offer menu was good and had a nice time.

I popped over for lunch and was HIGHLY dissapointed. The waitress ignored me, it took about 10-15mins before i was given a menu, in 20 mins i was given cold nachos, obviously the waitress could not be bothered to serve me.
After waiting for over 40mins i had to leave hungry. The couple who sat next to me were served immediately they came in, were told about the lunchtime special, got served their main course while i was still patiently waiting for a meal that never came.
Absolutely disgusting. I will make sure people i know and all my colleagues never visit this place.
To the waitress, you should treat every customer the same regardless of who, what they look like.
As i never got my meal, cant say much about the food except that the Nachos were cold.
Yuck, never again.

Myself and friends dined at Navajo Joes for a birthday. We had the 3 course Christmas Dinner Menu for £30 a head. For this price, we were expecting something special.
Sadly we were very disappointed. The Goats Cheese Tart was average, and the turkey dinner was cold consisting of half cooked vegetables. When we mentioned this to our waiter he shrugged his shoulders with no hint of an apology. To make matters worse, when they confused our desserts the reply from the waiter was "whatever" in true Vicky Pollard style.
After making over £450 from our table for disgusting arrogant service we proceeded downstairs to the bar area. Two of our friends left the bar area to visit the toilet in the next corridor. On return they were then promptly told they could not re enter as the establishment was apparently full to capacity. This seemed somewhat ridiculous as there was plenty of space.
This seemed like the last straw so we finally approached the manager and gave him our feedback. He apologised and gave us a free bottle of wine, However in hindsight this only goes so way to rectifying a really disappointing experience. I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone and would strongly advise people reading this to go elsewhere.

This is probably one of the best restaurants in Covent garden, maybe even London. The place is so atmospheric, with the choice of music and some of the very individual art pieces on the walls. The service was spot on, I wasn't rushed, the staff were polite and the always checked if everything was all right with your food and more than willing to change something if it wasn't quite right.
The first time I went there was there for my birthday. I easily spent we easily spent more than a few hundred on the mix of food and drinks.
I went through nearly every item on the Amusements list including Coxina Chicken w/ Tabasco and lime dressing, Sticky BBQ wings, Hoi-sin duck nachos, Kangaroo meatballs, Thai beef sausage rolls and the Steak Teriyaki. The food was absolutely outstanding. I've never eaten food with such taste before
We shot straight on to our Starters including Roast Duck Quesadilla. Mains Consisted of Various dishes, I in-fact ordered 3 for myself. With highlights such as an 8oz Sirloin, Peri Peri chicken and slow roast crispy pork. Among the 5 of us we practically bought the whole menu, along with many, many cocktails such as Clockwork Orange, Mexican Wave, Espresso Martini, French Martini's, Manhattan's and Mojito's. It was an outstanding Drinks collection with an amazing Wine collection, including a very special Quinto Di Verona 2000 red.
Overall this is one of the best restaurants/bars I've been in, and I now visit there regularly, for either a few drinks with friends, or a quick and easy lunch, and coincidentally I'm recognised and appreciated for being a regular customer, boiling down to there excellent customer service. I personally think everyone should visit this restaurant at least once. You won't regret it.
