your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

I was at pjs last week, I have not been for a while but it was great to see it still has its magic atmosphere. We had just main courses but lulled over some champagne and soaked it up. The food was very good and tasty and reasonably priced. Staff and manager as always were helpful and polite, keep up the good work!

Overpriced for what it is in terms of food. Also the 15% surcharge is costing them custom. Plenty of other good resturants in the area with better food and good value. Think they are trying to attract a snobby clientele only. Atmosphere is average but the place could do with some regular live music - some Jazz for example.

i felt i must write a review for PJ's after reading several others that purely but politely slated it.

i have in lived in chelsea for most of my life and cosider myself a 'chelsea girl', this means that i have visited practically every restaurant, bar, club and members clubs in the surrounding area. i still feel after my travells around chelsea and fulham that PJ's is one of the best restaurants in chelsea. The reason i say this is because everytime i have ventured inside those dark wooden doors i have always been greeted with a warm and friendly smile, and the service has always been consistantly brilliant. I am aware however, that the food did go through a rather 'slipery slope' stage where it seemed to be going slowly down hill, but i am glad to annouce that, that little problem has no been resolved and the food is once again smashing.

The atmoshphere is always one of fun and i truly believe the staff make every customer feel like they are a regular and take special care of everyone with the highest standard of customer service.

The decor itself is very good also, the beautiful black and white pictures of various polo matches cover the walls along with dozens of memorabilia and old polo gear. Beware though, in the summer season PJ's is packed full of polo players on their days off having a jolly good alcohol induced time, the prices are great for the area as they are not overly expensive, and not too cheap that you feel you are dining in a ghastly TGI Friday's.

If you want a friendly atmosphere and dont mind being surrounded by half of the 'chelsea set' for lunch or dinner it's a truly fab place that i feel deserves full marks every time.... you a know a place is good when even their toilet's are nearly as fabulous as the main restaurant itself!!...and believe me the girls will have great fun with the wash basins.
