Bad. Really bad. My partner and I visited this restaurant recently and the food was appalling. The burgers were tasteless, the chips were really oily and the cocktails were like buckets of sugar. The hostess and the Management are really rude too....what's the point. We complained. They sent us vouchers and we tried it again last night. The cocktails were below average again and it was a 45minute wait for a table so we didn't bother. Go anywhere else.

I'd like to know why the staff aren't all wearing the uniform there? I was ushered into the back of the resturant by a guy wearing a track suit :/

As i followed him I was still trying to figure out just WHO he was :|

7/8 minutes in I asked someone if I could order, the lady who was friendly said she would get her collegue to serve us, 5 more minutes later I asked somene else if I could get served and they too said the same thing. After waiting around 15 minutes some over bubbly young lady came and took our orders hardly aplogising for the wait. The food arrived another 15 minutes later. The food was average, not really value for money.

I dont recommend eating here if you're actually hungry by the time u arrive there because you'll have a long wait till you're actually served/fed.

I also dont recommend this place if you like to feel aknowledged as a customer because me and my friend did not.

I would not go back.

TGI Fridays has always been one of my favourite places to eat, I even found one of their venues in Taiwan on my 23rd birthday.

I have always had wonderful experiences at Covent garden's branch so I was more than surprised when I had a less pleasant at all dinner at their Soho branch last Friday.

Firstly they refused to let me book a table on the Tuesday (for the following Friday) so my large group of friends and I had to wait for 45 minutes which was absolutely fine, however;

When our table was ready, we told the hostess that two of our friends were just walking up the road & she rudely said 'no'. She then told us not only would our table be given to another group, but we would be put to the back of the que.

After a few minutes of her huffing & waving her hand at me, our friends arrived and we were seated.

Our waitress was lovely; sweet, friendly & professional.

We ordered cocktails and chose from their promotional menu-2 courses for £9.99-excellent value.

Everybody's starters arrived apart from mine so we politely called over a male waiter who did not appear pleased. He responded rudely enough for the entire table to notice & be quite ticked off.

The food arrived and it was honestly vile. I love American food and even though I'm a vegetarian, I love to tuck in to a hearty US meal but the vegy nurger they bought me was un-edible.

I didn't want to moan but my friends noticed and tried a bit, 3 of them tried & spat it into a tissue. It was rock hard, completely without flavour and the fries were dark & oily.

We had to ask twice to be brought mayonaise but it was a busy Friday night so that can be forgive.

But the rude staff who give the distinct impression that they did not want to be there watching others having fun and the horrible food can not so easily be forgotten.

They did take off £5 from my bill and £5 from my friend's as her main meal was un-edible too, which I appreciated.

They add 12.5 % tip to the bill, which we paid even though some of my party were not very pleased about it.

TGI Fridays is meant to about fun, ice-cream cocktails and bubbly staff and we left feeling stressed, hungry and regretting that we didn't go to the Covent Garden branch.

What a shame that they can't keep up with their sister venue!

We went here for lunch, and were disappointed. The staff were friendly, but one of meals was cold, they took it away and brought another (when everyone else had finished eating), but we weren't offered a free drink or even a great apology. The anbience is tipical TGI, so great, but the toilets are HORRIBLE and in dire need of not just decoration but cleaning. In short, I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it.

This was our first visit to TGI's and I wasn't disappointed! Food was lovely, service was excellent. Children enjoyed their meals!

Cost around £35 for 4 of us to eat, not bad in my eyes!

We went on spec last Saturday as had taken kids to Hamleys for a treat and TGI was fab. Only a 12 minute wait at 7.30 on a Saturday night for a table for 4 non smoking - great table right in the window kids loved watching the world go by. Great 9.99 menu deal with good choices. Food was not rushed at all, was hot and tasty and good size portions especially the puds!! Refilable sodas refilled countless times without us asking. Restaurant was clean and waitress smilely and friendly all in all a great night out and we will definately be back - thankyou.
