On reading the fantastic reviews for kaifeng restaurant. My husband and I were very excited to dine here for our anniversary. We ordered a set menu for two and were so shocked the portion of half a cereal bowl of rice was for both of us. The whole meal was for one person to be shared or rationed between both of us and cost an astonishing 72 pounds! We were so upset. The service charge was 9.30 for bringing the dishes to the table! We will never go there again. As the other reviewer said they are definitely ripping people off. Also to add to this the food was not mouthwatering as promised.

We came here last night for a meal with some friends, and I have to say we walked away feeling extremeley dissapointed!

The food is excellent, along with the attention to detail and the service provided. - But I have to say I feel that they have completely got their prices all wrong! - its extortionate. A set meal for 4 people came to £190...

I feel this is ripping off the Jewish people as there are very little good kosher chinese restaurants to chose from, and we are being forced to pay silly prices in order to get a good meal! - their GP profits must be huge!

They offered us 20% off the price of the meal, due to a promo in the JC. But the prices have gone up 20% since I last came here (about a year ago)

If you want a good meal expect good food! - but bring lots of cash with you!
