I decided on this restaurant after reading the reviews here which seemed unnaturally perfect and I was not disappointed. Seven of us went there for a 21st birthday meal a few weeks back. The staff were very friendly, informal and funny and took the time to explain a few different dishes that we enquired about. The service was great and we did not get rushed along at all. Even if there are more than six going for the meal you still have choice - to choose from the set menus £26 or £35 or the individuals dishes from the actual menu, so it was perfect pricewise too. You will definately enjoy yourself here!

My favourite Chinese restaurant in London, bar none. The menu is varied and a million miles away from the fare offered in the tourist traps of Chinatown. Friendly, unpretentious and welcoming. The owner makes you feel as if you're always remembered even though I'm sure it can't be so!

We have been going to YMING for many years now and it is as good now as it was when we first went. Food excellent and the staff very friendly and warm. We wil be back in London in March and as soon as we drop our cases off at the hotel we will start our break as usual at YMING with good food and a bottle of Chablis.
