seems to be a bit of an old soho reliable ... reasonable prices and good food.

favourites are the kambing bakar, the king river prawns - udang belado and the fish in coconut curry - sousi pa (?) were all spot on tonight. and the wine was decent. desert took a bit of time to arrive, but not too long. staff are attentive.

never too crowded, and part of me likes it better that way!

not too many soho places are relaxing to go to. nusa dua is one.

maybe it's the indonesian wood carvings that give a kind of slightly daggy ambience ... though i'm sure the owners -who go to indonesia to choose them especially -won't like me saying that.

I have eaten at Nusa Dua a number of times in the past, but was probably a couple of years since my last visit. Oh how things have changed for the worse over that time. I'll focus on the food as that's the most important point. Al the ingredients now tasted very cheap - the chicken especially was that horrid slimy reformed stuff that some Asian restaurants like. The satay tasted burnt and unpleasant and the sauces were so watery that they were flavourless, except the copious salt in them.

Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

i always go to this restaurant and so far i`ve never been dissapointed , but you have to know what to choose as not all the dishes are indonesian . I have so many favourites that sometimes i don`t know what to have , but i can recommend some of the best i had there . For starters the tempe goreng (pan fried soya beans) and roti canai (malaysian bread served with a spicy curry dip ) are the best choices as i tried almost everything on that menu , and for the mains , it`s good to have a mix of meats , chicken lamb and beef . Ayam Bawang Putih ( chicken wings fried with garlic and spring onion ) kambing bakar (grilled lamb chops cooked in soya sauce ) and rendang daging ( beed in a slightly spicy coconut sauce) are my top 3 and the gado gado will do for vegetables . Add some egg fried rice and you`ll come back to this restaurant as often as i do , sometimes 3 times a week . The service is great , quick and very attentive , the waitresses keep checking on us more than necessary .

A favourite in Soho for early special price meals or after shopping. Good prices and great food. Love the hot lamb chops and chilli fries as well as the other commoner dishes. Very pleasant service and clean toilets. Read the mixed review - never had a bad experience myself!
