Adams Cafe
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
This restaurant provides a perfect introduction to authentic Tunisian cooking and is well known locally as the haunt of media types and the odd local celebrity - due to its enduring reputation for family-run friendliness and superb food. It's also a dramatic contrast to ever escalating London restaurant prices. This is egalitarian eating - under £20 will suffice for many customers - and you can bring your own wine. But there's also an interesting wine list if you can't be bothered to go to the the off licence across the road. This is a restaurant that repays a sense of adventure, since some of the dishes you may not have heard of are among the best. Try the briks - fans of crisp and light pastry stuffed with all sorts of interesting things. And the authentic tangines are glorious. But beware - Adam's Cafe still believes in good sized (huge by most people's standards) portions.

I agree with all these reviews. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Decor and atmosphere very good - a lovely place to spend an evening.

I ate here for the first time on Monday night. A warm welcome greeted us on a very cold wet night.
Everything was first class, food, service, prices. I had heard about the restaurant for years and had always wanted to go there. It did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a range of dishes to give a taste of the cuisine and each was unique. Will definitely be returning

Warm atmospehere in unusual part of London. Food well prepared and delicious. Particularly impressed with the brik (my egg was perfectly cooked inside the deep fried pastry) and couscous which came with a variety of meats and a healthy stew.
Service was patchy in a rather pleasant way, the head waitress I think the duaghter of the propretors) had the loveliest smile. Actually all the staff smiled, helped with choices, were patient with our indecisivenss and sometimes took a little while to arrive with the drinks but the whole experience left our party of four feeling full in both a physical and emotional way. We had a really good time.
Drinks interesting (Casablancan beer, Moroccan Merlot - both good), surroundings not luxurious but welcoming and comfortable - linen napkins!
Very inexpensive - £30 per head with considerable booze and food. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to get off the neaten track and enjoy a night with firends in a friendly environment with interesting well prpared food.

This is possibly the best affordable London eatery I've ever been to. Easy to have a hearty meal for less than £15, with BYO corkage charges at just £3 too.
The food is fantastic as well - big portions, presented beautifully and exotic flavours. The Tangines are delicious, as are the cous-cous dishes.
Would be nice to keep this as a local secret, but that would be unfair on everyone else!

Always a Hearty welcome. The Chorba(soup) last night was delicious.A meal in itself, so meaty. The cous cous Royale with it's spicy sausage was out of this world,no wonder we go there regularly
