Took clients to Boltons on Friday afteroon, enjoyed great food (very good portions)

Staff were very friendly, even through the restarant was quite busy felt we were well looked after. Food was very traditional Italian (good thing) can understand why Boltons so popular. Left feeling full and satisfied. Will be back.

Eat here on a busy Tuesday lunchtime just before Christmas. Despite having booked we were made to wait in the small bar area for one hour as our table was occupied by another party. The Maitre D failed to supply us with complimentary drinks whilst we waited.

Once seated, the service was friendly albeit a little chaotic. The food (Sea Bass with Clam and Shrimp Sauce) was excellent and portions very generous.

However, prices (£19 for the Sea Bass) were a little toppy.

As the seating area is quite cramped smoking needs to be banned in this place

On the whole I would recommend this restaurant (sloppy service was just about saved by quality of the food).

Excellent foood and good service plus nice ambience, but very pricy and the red wine comes at oven temperature!

Friendly service, good food and refreshingly large portions! Can work out pricier than first thought though - a portion of mixed vegetables (for one) costs £5.50, which when added to the potato side dish - £3 does add to the overall cost when the main dish is in the region of £20. Not a major gripe though as the quality of food and service were excellent. Atmosphere is good, though it would benefit from a smoking ban, or at least an effective no smoking area.

This is a restaurant not a meeting room!

Agree with all MD's comments re Bolton's.

Always a great welcome from the staff and food always reliable as well.
