I fear that most of the other people who have reviewed this restaurant wouldn't know a good Italian restaurant if it came up and slapped them round the face. We had lunch there yesterday. Pizza was OK - small and suspiciously round in Pizza Express style, but thin, with good toppings. Veal escalope with pasta in tomato sauce was an absolute travesty. A small, thick piece of veal with an overly bready batter which gave every appearance of having been cooked some time ago and recently heated up. Just wholly unacceptable. And the pasta sauce seemed a bit Loyd Grossman.
Uncomfortable chairs, pricey extras (£3 for a bottle of water, £2 for an espresso), tables too close together.
Not a good place. Don't do it.

I arranged a staff Christmas party here and it was excellent, the staff were more than helpful and accommodating and the food and drink was good and all very reasonably priced. Lovely family run restaurant and would definitely recommend it!
