Really a wine bar that sells a bit of food, in that way it is a true tapas bar, this place is quite good though perhaps a touch overpriced. Nice obscure wines though.

You know how, on holiday, you always find the best place on the last evening? Well I'm in the process of moving from Smithfied, and have only just discovered this place. This is what tapas should be but rarely are - a selection of tasty, interesting, well presented small dishes, ideal for a light snack or for sharing. I've yet to find a dud on the extensive wine list, full of unfashionable "country" wines clearly chosen by someone who both knows and cares. It is very much a bar rather than a restaurant - some might find the music intrusive, although it is an eclectic mix and at a level that allows conversation - but if that's what you're looking for, I don't know anywhere better. I might have to move back!
