Chez Gerard (Bishopsgate)

I can only echo the previous reviews in how poor the Chez Gerard chain is.

Have been to 3 branches over time and they have all bad below par, with the last visit to the city one the worst.

Steaks very average in quality, not too hot and poor value for money.

Service is also very bad with our waitress taking 5 minutes to bring out our 4 mains, sauces and 6 side dishes while a couple of other waiters just stood and chatted (so much for teamwork). Staff also had a poor command of English and did not know the menu or winelist at all.

Overall I doubt very much I will be trying out any other Chez Gerard's again.

I am amazed they are as busy as they are, there are far better places to eat in the city for less money.
