dissapointment, is the only word to sum it up, apart from a rude waitress who seems to think that serving customers is beneath her, the food was OK, although partners steak was not good, and that's not good when paying £25 a pop, there are plenty of places to go, which we will do in the future, shame as we have been going to this place for years now, but we finally learnt our lesson, don't go! shame, but don't

Read the previous review from 2008 and thought 'it can't be that bad 2 years later' - OMG wish I had heeded the warning. Sent back the first fillet steak for being stringy and tough. Second one was like old leather. The bill at the end included the two steaks but with what the manager claimed was a 'discount'. Went back just after we had paid to query the bill and it turned out there was no 'discount' and we had been charged more than the meal we had eaten. Excuse was "that's the way I have to put it into the till". This place may have been good about 5 years ago but heed a second warning - avoid.
