This pub is only worth visiting for drinks, perhaps! - The food is atrocious. The taste of the food isn't too bad, but the cost and quantity is appauling. The group I was with went there for lunch. The sandwiches were expensive (£5) and came with a tiny amount of wilted lettuce leaves. No crisps or chips on the side as is standard for that kind of price in other pubs. A cheese platter came with 2 small slices of cheese, 1 small stick of celery and a teaspoon of chutney and stale bread. (£5.25)!! We thought we'd fill ourselves up with crisps, but there was only one bag left in the whole pub - and that was £1.10p!!!!! Outrageous!
